First off I respect people who want and do work at McDonalds. I never would myself and someone has to, so all props to you.
But, every time I go here they seem to mess up my order in some shape, way or form. I’m not the kinda person to make a fuss and get angry at some poor sap who may or may not have been trained well at all. Also most of the time they don’t have enough people taking orders in the drive through, yet there are two lanes and only can do one order at a time while the other person sits in the other lane waiting. I find that some of the workers either a. Don’t explain things well or b. Don’t know what they’re doing. Many times I’ve had people try and give me the wrong order. About 8 times out of 10 they never seem provide napkins with drive through orders either. I’ve had times where the drive through person was rushing me and other times where I can’t even understand what they’re saying, and many times they didn’t understand what I said and got my order wrong. I feel like some of your workers genuinely don’t care.
I once asked for 2 double cheeseburgers plain and they gave me two plain old hamburgers. Ik that isn’t the biggest mistake but it’s not an uncommon thing in this mc Donald’s for staff to have a problem understanding people.
Now I’ve also had instances where people are very nice and understanding when they mess up an order and give me a new one or help me in any sort of way. (Thank you to those people.) There’s also been instances where I had to go in and say my order is wrong and the people taking orders in front had no idea what to do and I felt as if I was bothering them. Luckily someone else came up front from the kitchen and helped me get the right order.
All in all I really feel like it comes down to a management issue and not giving employees proper training. I know everyone’s work ethic is different and everyone has bad days but I find that the amount of times I get the “I don’t know what I’m doing” feeling from the workers is just slightly concerning.
Also I found weird pieces of discoloration in my hash brown (idk if it’s rotten potato or if it’s supposed to be there or what but I’ve never seen it...
Read moreThis location is fair. The problem is that the staff are sometimes friendly and sometimes poor with service and everything. The consistency is bad. Like many American local fast food places, there are a lot of times when I visit this location and the employees and management make a lot of mistakes with my order and give a bad attitude about fixing it, and sigh about the fact that I came back to ask for a missing item. As prices have risen, this is a problem and makes me want to go to another location. The McDonald's across the bridge in Canada is run better sometimes. But this is not always the case. Please address employees on improving attitude, focus on specifics with orders, and don't forget to give napkins, straws, and condiments. If you need to ask a customer to pull ahead and wait for an order, then please provide courtesy and provide a time estimate on when the order will be ready! Do these things, and next time I will rate this McDonald's with 5 stars. Thank...
