OC Coffee — Restaurant in Caldwell

As a construction worker helping resurface Highway 55 to make it safer and smoother for everyone, I stopped by OC Coffee in Marsing hoping to grab a quick cup of coffee. Instead of being treated like a paying customer, I was immediately badgered about how long the road work would delay traffic into the business.

Moments later, the owner came out and unloaded on our whole crew and the State Inspector just because we had parked near her shop — as if it was some personal attack rather than us doing our job. Her reaction was completely over the top: yelling, complaining, and ultimately closing the shop in what looked like a toddler-level meltdown.

Not only did this drive us away as potential customers that day, it left a really sour taste about supporting this local business at all. We were just doing our best to keep the highway in good shape for everyone — including her customers. Totally unnecessary attitude and zero professionalism. Won’t be going back.

Not to mention the coffee was mediocre at best leaving a sour taste in my mouth both literally and figuratively. Next time will just stop at Maverik instead of supporting this...

☕️ I absolutely love this place because first, they are amazing people and second, they have the best coffee in town! My most favorite flavor coffee is their Horchata, it’s so good my second favorite is the Angel OC but honestly all the the drinks they have are good. What I love about here is that I really do love to see their friendly faces and I love that they have so many sugar-free options for my diabetic self! I’m such a big fan that I had to ask for a gift card from my fam for my b-day! 💕 oh and there’s so much more on the menu you have to check...

Stopped through on a roadtrip with admittedly low expectations, we’ve been on the road for days and have hit up many subpar coffee shops along the way. I feel bad saying so but I didn’t have high hopes for a small place in marsing. Was I ever glad to be wrong. Delicious tea, coffee and cakes. The service was wonderful and the girls serving friendly and happy. It felt so cosy and tucked away, it was a joy to go to. If I lived in the area I would make this my go-to...
