Joey's West — Restaurant in Caledonia

Bad service and food was Okay at best. Got my order wrong on a take out order and the other time offered me pretzels because the grill closed 5 min before my arrival. Only 2 people in the bar, could have turned grill back on and made me a grilled cheese atleast. In fact first thing said to me when I walked in wasn't welcome or hi how are you. It was " hope your not here to eat, grill closed 5 min ago , but we have a bag of pretzels" SMH.

Well this is the first response I've ever received from you. In fact first post was by email, because I didn't think it needed to go public. But since you want it public here I go.

Guess maybe I'm old school. We used to have a thing called customer service. Where you make sure the customer is happy so they tell there friends and also want to come back.

When you walk in a place you should be greeted with a smile and not make a customer wait because you'd rather stay a BS with your regulars. Guess I can understand if there is only 2 or 3 people there you need them back.

And then to reply on here like you even attempted to do what's right. When in reality you've done absolutely nothing pretty much Seals the deal.

To wrap it up, I will never set foot in one of your establishments again. Which I'm sure your fine with. And I recommend to everyone it's not as great as the reviews say. Have a great day and I hope you and your handful of regulars have...

I got to check out Joey’s West and have to say I was surprised. The exterior is very unassuming.

Food: The quality was really good. I did think the portion sizing and the overall quality were great!

Service: Our waitress really checked in a lot and was very attentive to our needs.

Atmosphere: The inside really matched the vibe and how the staff were. I really felt like the staff wanted our visit to be a good one. Have to say that is great as not all businesses operate this way.

The bar was busy when we walked in. Very noisy. We sat in the back room. It was cold back there. The waitress was very friendly. I had the mushroom Swiss burger and added bacon, lettuce and tomato. I ordered my burger with no pink and it was a little dry, but very delicious. Well-seasoned. I would recommend choosing a little pink in the burger. I got the home fries. They were delicious.
