Worst McDonald's I have ever been. Yesterday me and my family and I were coming camping at Lake Isabella for the weekend.
Decided to stop by and eat on our way home. Worst decision ever.
I ordered through the kiosk and 2 big Mac, 2 french fries, 20 nuggets pack, and a McChicken Large meal and large fries. I paid with my card a partial amount for that payment was approved. And there was a 5.99 pending for the extra fries. I removed the fries from my order. The kiosk did give me a receipt.
I went ahead and made line and asked the guy in the register for help. He said if you ordered and I paid, you should have a problem.
Moments later, I was told that they didn't have any orders pending for such. They asked for my receipt and told them the kiosk didn't give me one. I explained the whole situation. I even showed the manager my card account and showed her the amount and the time the transaction was made. And she said that at her end it doest show anything and she is not going to give me no free food because in my card account it was showing as a pending transaction which she explained as the transaction was not complete. I told her what you mean. Don't you have a debit card ? Most of the time, a transaction that was recently made would appear as pending, especially from a restaurant. But doesn't mean that is not completed. I tried to explain that the problem wasn't about that the order wasn't completed if that was the case I would have reordered and it would not be any problem. But the mayor problem was that McDonald's deducted $47.24 from my account and that those $47.24 were the last money that I had in my account. So, in this scenario, I was not able to reorder and pat for my food. And again told me she was not going to give free food for my whole family to eat. I told her that it was not free food, I had paid for that food. I also explained to her and showed her a transaction that was made earlier at a gas station and it was also showing as pending and it was completed because I received the chips and snacked that I had bought for my children. I was devastated 💔 and felt really bad for my children that 😞 😪 that went to sleep without having dinner. I was so wrong how we were discriminated against and devalued and assumed that we were trying to get free food it's a shame how their customers service and their management of this location pass on situations like this. They should close down this location or fire the manager at this location because FLOR THE MANEGER is one of the worst manager that I have ever met. There was a lack of communication, lack of customer service and lack of respect, and lack of resolving an issue.... Read moreDon't use the kiosks. One was at boot-up screen stuck. Another was just a white screen. Another I put in my order but the pay with card or at register were non-responsive. 4th kiosk was barely responsive but the pay at counter button worked though the pay with card did not. I just wanted the 2 fish for 5 deal. Took 15m just to place my order. Chose kiosk because the app was having issues. I would not go back for the ordering experience. Also the bathrooms need a code to enter. Was easy enough once I got the attention of a worker. Another guy got the worker to let him in. When he came back out to report a toilet flooding issue, one of the workers gave attitude so he said help without attitude and she responded that she was not giving attitude. Another worker came up, manager I assume, and found out what he wanted. It got taken care of. So poor customer service and God customer service. Also food provided was correct though seemed slow. This place felt like it was not well managed/maintained, regardless of what the "normal" situation might be. If I had opportunity to go back I would not. I would probably pay more elsewhere but if the service is better than definitely worth it. Will go to either gas station across street or Carl's Jr just a short walk/drive (maybe)...
Read moreWe were first in line in drive thru. We ordered and paid promptly in 1st window. Upon pulling up to 2nd window for food pickup, we were not greeted for 10 minutes then when somebody finally appeared no apology, nada.
After pulling over in parking lot and after further inspection of our order: they missed the egg in our egg McMuffins and the fries in my sons happy meal so i came into the restaurant.
I had to wait a total of 30mins for my food to be prepared again. Only excuse was “its so crowded and busy” yes i understand but a simple follow up every couple mins may have improved this review.
Also, i asked for hot water to fill up halfway into my own canister but the cashier wanted to charge me for hot water.
While waiting 30 minutes for my food to arrive i witnessed that same cashier give many things away for free including drinks and extra McNugget sauces. Also, i was not the only one missing food from their order. I know mistakes happen but this is inappropriate and doesnt represent my past McDonald’s experiences.
I suggest customer service and proper etiquette training for this location. Customer 101 is a must in this case.
I will know better on my next trip to drive to the jacks, bk or carls...
