If I could give negative stars I would... Babes has by far the worst service when it comes to their mistakes it's absolutely unacceptable. My husband and I got off work at 5 o'clock and picked up her five-month-old baby and went to babes to pick up our pre-ordered specialty pizza. When we got there at 6 they said they made it for take and bake by accident, were very apologetic and that it would be another 20 mins so we decided to wait since we live 45 minutes away. 6:45 rolls around and we ask one of the waitresses about it. They lost it. Lost our pizza. Nobody knows what happened to the pizza. My baby is getting exhausted. We opt to feed him there and tell them it's ok and they cook another and bring it out 7:30. It's the wrong pizza. At this point we will eat anything so we accept it and ask for a refund. Apparently they couldn't give us a refund because there was "no manager" so the credited us $3.50. So it is now 8 pm. My son is exhausted, we are exhausted and frustrated but have worked in the service industry and try to stay understanding. We ask them to have their manager call us to discuss everything because we feel that our patience and understanding deserves something. We were there for 2 hours with a baby. Well cut to 2 weeks later and my husband calls to talk to the owner because - surprise! Nobody called us. He is absolutely rude and condescending. Says if "I gave a free pizza to everyone who asked if go out of business." Lets recap - We had already paid for our dinner, they could not refund our money, we live 45 minutes away.. We could either accept the wrong pizza, or go home empty handed and out the money we paid already since they aren't allowed to refund, or we could have waited AGAIN hoping they get it right or don't lose it another 45 minutes later.. with a infant... 45 minutes away from home.. when we have to be back at work at 8 am the next morning. We were in a catch 22, yet we still were screwed. All we wanted is the pizza we ordered. He offered a $10 credit! Like we want to give them MORE money from their screw up?! What really sucks is that the business I work for uses their location for meeting sometimes in an effort to support local business. My husband and I, and our entire family of over 400 locally, will never give them our business again because they don't care to take care of customers who went out of their way to be a accommodating to the staff that kept us there for 2 hours for a pizza we...
Read moreI had over a month’s worth of laundry to get done for my teenage daughter & I at the Cutten Laundromat (best laundromat in town, imho, but that’s another review) located in the same shopping center as Babe’s Pizza. Their lunch specials run until 2 pm & are the best deal if you only want a personal sized pizza. I figured it would take about 30 minutes to get my laundry started but it was already 1:45 so I ordered thru their website just before 2 pm for pick up in about 30 minutes. The timing was perfect, I was at the salad bar making my side salad when my Spicy Hawaiian pizza came out of the oven.
This is good old fashioned pizza folks, there’s a reason the parking lot is always full & it’s not because of the laundromat. This is where the locals go, because the pizza is top tier, nice thick crispy crust with the perfect ratio of toppings/cheese to sauce. With that being said tho, the salad bar is a little lackluster but let’s be real, nobody goes to a pizza place for the salad, so does that even matter? If you’re not feeling the pizza, try the meatball sub, it’s outstanding-saucy & delicious, a fork & knife kind of sandwich & is also on the daily lunch specials with a bag of chips & a drink for a good price. They also do take n’bake pizzas, I’ve never tried one but I’ve seen people picking them up & they make the pizza’s from that other take n’bake place look like amateur hour. Lots of things to try on the menu, including some interesting sounding specialty pizza’s, Cutten Crunch or BLT pizza anyone?? Try it, you never know, it might just change your life. For the...
Read moreWe order from babes atleast once a month, but I've been ordering there for the last 25 years, was family friends with the OG owners and watched it switch hands over and over again. Delivery is a hit and miss, sometimes they are there in 30 minutes and sometimes it 2 hours later and a cold pizza. Don't ask them to make your wings extra saucy because they will put the bare minimum sauce, barely drizzle it if you ask them to make it different then they normally do. The new staff is pretty rude, the waitresses have a huge problem rolling their eyes. Everytime I go to do a pick up order they loose the ticket and the pizza was just never made, but they don't tell me this until I have paid and I drop a tip in the can. They offered me a drink or a soda while I waited a extra 20 minutes for food that should of been done 20 minutes prior to me showing up.
I've worked in fast food for most of my jobs, pizza parlors being #1. Babes needs to step their game up, fire the employees that are rude or don't know how to provide good customer service. They also should start tipping their dishwasher! You should know that almost every other local pizza establishment and most local restaurants do tip the dishwasher. They don't split the tips all weird either. Your supposed to collect all tips together and divide it by the amount of employees you have so everyone gets a fair share. Dishwashers have one of the hardest jobs, they shouldn't have the hardest jobs and get paid literally the least amount out of all...
