Ben's Burgers — Restaurant in California

If I could give 10 stars I would. Best little shack, sketchy, jenky burger shop ever. Ever!!! Saying it loud for y’all who aren’t around this area. Add it to your stop when you’re passing through Pittsburg/ Bay Point.

I don’t want my review to get lost with too much to read so let me just give you the top line:

*Bring CASH. CASH only. And don’t forget to leave a little tip. Kindness goes a long way. *Order the Onion Rings even if you aren’t an onion person. This will forever will change your mind. *Burgers are like perfection. She seriously makes the best burgers. Ordered the Bacon Burger w/ Cheese and let me tell you they do not skimp on the bacon. Loaded was so good. *They have burgers, hot dogs, chicken wings, fried calamari, fried shrimp so a good selection for you non beef eaters. *They have shakes and cones if you want to top off your eat fest with a sweet treat. *Only Pepsi drinks. Sorry, if you’re Team Coke. *Super friendly, couple of seats to eat indoor, clean, god for groups (Speaking of clean, don’t be a slob clean up after yourself on the way out)

That about sums it up. I will def keep going! Might have to get back on a diet for this....

Been going here since I was little and not much has changed. I can call and Ben always knows who I am and I just love it when he says "your order ready 10 minutes " & your order is ready in 10 min everything is fresh from the produce to the meat etc prices are very reasonable menu hasn't changed much since I was little and the taste is omg sooo good for such a simple hamburger its taste is just I can't describe it except to say it's the best burger I have ever had. My kids now go there on their own. It's not much to look at but ask anyone who has grown up in West Pittsburg ( aka Bay Point ) and you can always tell by a person's reaction what they think of any place and when asked about Ben's Burgers most get this happy and excited look on their face before any words ever come out. It's 1 of the last untouched places around. While progress has sprouted all around Ben's Burgers has remained the same. I’d typically say 5 stars but the time before last time I went they had the grill closed before 10,not a big deal just wish they had that posted online before heading out to them especially since it was still 9 something. The most recent time I went they charged me extra for the add ons to a burger and it came without it(it’s happened before and the young man came out and gave me cash back before the food was even ready),mind you this most recent time I had asked if they had the add ons prior and the lady told me yes.
