Del Taco — Restaurant in California

I had the impression that Del Taco had a 24-hour drive-thru. My colleagues and I typically visit Del Taco after our night shifts, as no other establishment appears to be open at that time. Today (February 5th) at approximately 10:30 p.m., I visited the Del Taco drive-thru and placed an order for twelve snack tacos for myself and my buddies. The individual taking my order responded with rudeness, exclaiming, “You want TWELVE tacos?!?” I confirmed my request, but he responded with a dismissive “ughh, okayyyy?” This was the first instance of blatant rudeness I have encountered in customer service. The guy’s demeanor was poor from the outset. It is not solely about the content of one’s words, but also about the manner in which they are conveyed. Dragging out one’s words and making the process of taking an order seem like a tedious chore is an unacceptable practice. I have never posted a complaint about customer service in the past, as I generally do not find the service to be that poor to warrant a review. However, this incident was exceptional in its blatant rudeness. The guy at the window (not sure if it is the same person who took my order) appeared visibly angry at my decision to order at nearly 11 p.m. It is unfortunate that I had to endure such a negative experience. My colleague, who was present in the car with me, was equally shocked by the treatment I received. As a healthcare professional who works twelve-hour shifts, I would be deeply troubled by having to encounter such behavior if I were to visit a drive-thru after midnight, potentially inconveniencing the staff. It is a shame that such an unpleasant experience was inflicted upon me and my colleague. I hope that the individuals involved found amusement in the situation, as they appeared to be making light of the poor service I received. And to top everything off, I never got a receipt, probably because he wanted to keep himself and his horrible...

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

I’ve been going there for the last 5 years and usually order the same thing (Bean and cheese burrito with French fries inside) This last week I went there 2 times and for my luck was unfortunate enough to deal with Anna and Elizabeth who have shown me by far the worst way to talk to someone and make them feel and charging me my extra hard working money for French fries than telling me they can only put 3-4 pieces of fire in there I tried to explain and talk to them but no vail they wouldn’t even give me a chance to talk and we’re being extremely rude and called me a liar I am highly offended and promise you thanks to them I will be returning to that establishment ever again they are horrible

Always welcoming, fast, and fresh. The best Del Taco around. I'm not lying or exaggerating. Other Dels don't have this type of feel...or fresh ingredients always. Their food portions are always the same and meet my expectations. I'm always looking to get what I should receive. Not to mention the price you pay is so reasonable, from meals to single items.
