El Forastero Méxican Food — Restaurant in California

super generic architecture, mediocre food (it still has its moments), service was pretty unfriendly but idk if I was a latin/Hispanic person in this country working at a el forastero I would probably have a chip on my shoulder, too. Its basically aldabertos/aldanbertos but I guess that's nothing knew. I would give 2 and a half stars but I cant. Quesadilla with guacamole is good but there wasn't that much guacamole. The horchata is good. I couldve caught them on an off day

Service was not good by conventional standards but since the cashier was kind of sassy it was a fun experience. She didn't say anything when we pulled up until we said "hello?" And she hastily said "order when youre ready." We asked if they had dr pepper and she just said no. She should've said "we have dr pibb instead" but...

Ive eatin at this place for a long time its always been one of the best in the area. But the last few times ive gone here to eat the staff is always in a bad mood and messes up my order. The first time they they messed up they gave me carne asada chips instead of fries. I didnt worry about it to much tho. The second time they messed up they gave me carne asada fries with no guacamole or cheese. Yesterday was the third and final time they messed up i ordered carne asada fries which had pretty much nothing on them they put as little cheese, carne asada, guacamole, and sour cream as they could an more than half my fries weren't cooked for more than a minute if that at all. Im sad because ive always liked this place but im ready to take my business elsewhere. There's another mexican restaurant...

It's family owned 💜 The menu is amazing, with lots of choices. Pozole and menudo on the weekends!👀 It's restaurant is set up like a fast food but much healthier and the taste is homemade with so much flavor. This is not fast food, but it is timely service.

Friendly service and so clean! Im so impressed, I'm seriously trying to convince them to open one in my hometown. No joke!
