This is by far, the best bakery I’ve found in town. Possibly in the state. Maybe the country.. Since driving by and trying it once, it’s become my favorite place to get coffee and baked goods of many varieties, and not once have they let me down. They are consistently fantastic. Having met the very talented and pleasant owner and I believe some family, much of that has to do with the ingredients she insists on, the exact things I do in my own kitchen, being a person who loves baking and cooking as well. And like me, she uses only what is real that God gifts us with, such as real butter. Like me, the idea of having margarine or anything similarly fake in her kitchen would likely make her just want to shut down. Also real vanilla, absolutely no fake flavored beanless concoctions. She and her family do a phenomenal job, she is one of the few people I would allow to make desserts for my family and I, and that I feel makes better things than I. This place is not the same cookie cutter, tasteless, packaged, just add water bakery we get used to at all. She is the real deal. I adore all her food, and it’s one of the best parts of my day. Despite the better quality than any place else I’ve gone, her prices are about the same. And her daughter makes me the best custom cappuccino I’ve ever had. My biggest concern on publishing this, is that I never have to wait, and that could change. However, this lady and her adorable, hard working family deserve any success they get and then some. Heaven touched down in Fair Oaks! I'm a NYer transplanted, and WE KNOW BAKERS. I finally got a chance to visit Elite Bakery, and Gianna waited on me. First off, the place is IMMACULATE, SO CLEAN and comfortable. Next, the display case: CANNOLI? REALLY? I got one of those of course and it did not disappoint. I ordered a Raspberry Scone and while it was not as dry as I PERSONALLY like them, it was divine, the fresh fruit was palpable. (I do like them dry, too: I'm a dunker). I will get that again. But the kicker was the HONEY CAKE. My next pet, I'm going to name it after this honey cake. There's bakers then there's baking chefs who master flavor: ELITE so nailed this richly moist, not too sweet, delight, that I am going back next week for more. As an aside, I saw a radiant looking fresh shrimp salad get served, that has got my name on it for my next visit. I will say this in case the owners read this, but I will mention it next week too: they need to cut up the honey cake, the sm'ores brownie, and a few other of their wonderful creations and create a CAKE SAMPLER PLATE TO GO because I want to try a bit of all of it and I would pay for that!
