Gami Burger — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

Shop is new, we were excited to try it out. The interior design is pretty nice. Outdoor area is good too. I hope they added misters in for when it's hot. Family friendly it seemed although I didn't check if there were changing tables in the bathrooms.

Unfortunately The food was too salty, both fries and the sandwich. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and the chicken patty was way too thick. The whole sandwich was as tall as my face. And the sandwich slid apart right away. Because it's as thick as it is, you can't really get a good bite of the sandwich for a while. Just kind of pecking at the sides. I think it could be better if they cut the meat thinner or pounded it thinner maybe. Breading is very crunchy. It's more of a crunchy bite than a crispy bite if that makes sense. Can't stress enough how over salted it was. Other than that- quality of ingredients seems good, I appreciate that.

Price is on the higher side $15 bucks for sandwich and fries no drink. I wouldn't be as upset about paying it if I felt the sandwich was good. I'm rooting for this places success but first impression is they'll have the same result as Willies burger because they're doing almost identical thing. Ok sandwiches for pretty above average prices. Other people we talked to kinda had the same feeling.

If they reduced the size of the chicken sandwich and shave $3 off the price, I think they could have more success. I at least would go back more often.

The new layout and design is beautiful! The service was great they were very attentive making sure we had everything we needed and tables were clean and everything. The menu has a lot of different options, but we went with the Gami burger. One was a single the other a double. The burger patty itself was literally the size of a pepperoni. My slice of tomato was larger and thicker than my patty for reference. I at first thought they made me a veggie burger because I couldn’t initially find the patty. The patty itself lacked any seasoning, a little salt and pepper would have gone a long way. The homemade pickles were not for me as they were sweet: I know very few people who like sweet pickles so that is an interesting choice as it made the whole burger pretty sweet. They also don’t have any kind of pickled anything to add to the burger like banana pepper or jalepenos or anything. Wasn’t what i expected at all. Wouldn’t waste my money, skips burgers on el Camino has better quality and great tasting and larger burgers for same price and you can even get your meal for free if you pull a jack out of...

So first time here the employees are nice they greet you right when you walk in but no follow up after you get your food 😔 Let's start off with the burger at first glance when they drop off my food looks good but then the first bite it was all bun, the patties on my double gami were smaller than the bun but the thin patties had good flavor too much lettuce and one slice of tomato was ok the pickles were good the gami sauce was also good the bun itself was a little stale it fell apart as I try to eat the burger even though the bun was toasted moving on to the the curly fries man-O-man these fries were bad over cooked hardly any curls just pieces I could not eat just left those alone.
