Five Guys — Restaurant in California

They only take care of certain customers. They rejected me and my boyfriend and said we “could not” place an order because they were backed up on orders which seemed like a huge lie. I asked if we should wait and she waved her nails on the air “no” so we said we would be back and she sighed and rolled her eyes exclaiming that they close at 8. It was 6:15. Another gentlemen went in and they rejected his order too, not even two minutes later another two people went in who seemed to be people they knew and they took their order! I could not believe my eyes. All the while we were watching this we were placing an online ordee, as soon as we came in we saw them rolling their eyes again and talking amongst themselves, it looked like we were either going to get more bad service or rejected again, as soon as she approached the counter I said we had an online order. She once again rolled her eyes and gave us a dirty look and said “fine.” Luckily the food was fine but the service I received was absolutely horrible! Not to mention while we were waiting on our food two of the four front workers were talking and messing around with their friend at the front register. I was honestly irritated. As soon as they called my order I said thank you and they dropped our food on the counter from the about 6” to a foot in the air and didn’t even acknowledge us. The disrespect. We stopped by after our church service, and let me tell you they have excellent guest service ! We came around 2:30pm on a Sunday and right when we walked in all the employees greeted us and made us feel very welcomed. The restaurant was super clean and their restroom was also very clean when I stepped in. Aside from the fabulous experience with this team, the food was fresh and delicious! All the ingredients I asked for were fresh and crunchy (in a good fresh way). Anyways I’ll be returning on multiple Sunday’s when I’m in the area after a great service at church you can only top off a wonderful Sunday at this very pleasant Five Guy’s. We've eaten at this location twice. I am giving them two stars because the first time everything was great. It was a Wednesday around noon. Tonight, however, Monday around 5 was a completely different story. We ordered 5 hamburgers in the app and when we went to pick them up wanted to order fries. The kitchen was chaos even though the restaurant itself had only a few customers. They would not let us add fries to our order and every single one of our 5 burgers was made wrong.
