Went a couple weeks ago. It was good but not the same. My friend and I were craving that greasy melty cheese drippy burger with the shredded lettuce but it was fancy and not what we were used to or expecting. It was on a fancy bun with leaf lettuce and it wasn’t goopy like what we wanted but I added bacon and it came with a lot!! Mmm mmm The fries changed too. They were great! Like Burger King fries with that crispy stuff on them. Yummy!! It was good but if you had GiantBurger the last 30years just a heads up it’s totally not the same. It’s like a Denny’s burger now. Still good though! Satisfying & great customer service (the made to order could be a bit faster and a bit pricey for 2 people).

We tried giant burger during a work trip and loved it ! The burgers were juicy, had great toppings and tasted amazing. The fries were extra crispy and had an excellent texture. One of us had the mushroom Swiss and enjoyed the flavor however said the burger tasted a little burnt. My group got two westerns and they said they were terrific. I had the pretzel burger and the bun was out of this world! This place is a little pricey however it is as to be expected in such touristy location. The milkshakes were average and cost 8.50. We overall enjoyed our experience and will come back here !

My family and I have been coming here for 11 years, and it's always amazing. Today we stopped by in the a.m. and we're worried about changes with the new ownership. However, it did not fail. We had a very cheerful greeting, made to order new breakfast linguica sandwich and we wanted to make sure to share the amazing experience that will continue with us visiting through out summer and winter. Thanks for making our tradition wo derful every time and hope this helps others who seek a good meal at good prices and amazing service.

Don't get me wrong, the food was delicious. They got my order right, and for someone who is very meticulous about the food they consume, that is a rarity. Though, what really makes the experience less enjoyable are the prices. Seriously, I went to Giant Burger with my mother and father, and the total came out to $64.89! We only got 3 burgers and fries. They charge like a restaurant instead of a burger joint, which doesn't fit the bill; no pun intended. Not to mention, the service was okay enough. For the 3 burgers and fries, the total wait time was about 12 minutes, and considering the food was made fresh and tasted good, I'd say the wait was worth it. Would I recommend this for a friend, maybe. However only certain circumstances. Those circumstances being there isn't anywhere else around, one is willing to spend a pretty penny on decent enough food, or one is adventurous and simply wants to try it for some reason. As I said, the main issue is the price of the food. I'm not saying they are outrageous but rather unnecessary. There are plenty of other places that serve better food for less money and most definitely have...

The girl who took our order was so unfriendly! We was here with our 3 years old son. When we just open door, until door closed she said 'we don't have an ice cream' instead of 'hello', we saw sign on door that there is no ice cream and we have no plan to buy it, we came here to try this giant burgers, I have no idea why she said it.

Because of my pronouncement (english is not my native language) she start acting like she completely have no idea what I'm talking about and i must know all menu without asking "her majesty". If you don't like your job, just change it and stop ruin people's mood who want try this awesome burgers after walking all day long in park trying to relax on weekend.

And now about Giant Burgers! It was so delicious! French fries with cheese just makes perfect combination, it's really tasty and hits you by massive calories attack to refill your energy after long walk! I believe this place is historical for many people and foreigners, don't ruin this by rude...

When I think of Giant Burger, I don't think of it as just your typical burger joint, or a pit stop on the way to or from Bear Valley and points beyond, rather I consider it an historical landmark, if you will. Restaurants have come, and many are now gone, but for those of us that grew up or passed through the small town of Arnold, Giant Burger has always been there. I can clearly remember as a young child more than 30 years ago just hanging out for hours enjoying a "Baby Burger", fries and a milkshake and playing the arcade games (things kids did before Nintendo, Xbox and PlayStation). I remember being so short I couldn't even reach the counter to order. Sure, over the years the menu has changed (of course you can still order the "Giant Burger" or its younger sibling the "Baby Burger") and so have the owners, but this establishment has been serving up small town charm to locals and passers-by since 1968 and I imagine it will continue to do so...
