After not having been up to Arnold in months and months after moving away, my daughter and I took an unexpected detour to the Creamery before heading to a concert by Grover Anderson behind the Bistro. (Which we never actually made it to) I was beyond delighted upon walking in to see three smiling and familiar faces. Childhood friends of my daughter, and like family to us, all grown up! Great job, Larry, for hiring such responsible, capable, friendly, and professional young ladies! Zero, Chloe, and KK, helping to keep the masses cooled down and refreshed with delicious ice cream, were immediately responsive and friendly when customers entered. I may be partial, and I'm sure my pride in the girls likely stems from remembering them as little toothless, pigtail wearing stinkers, and now seeing them as responsible young adults with jobs, interacting independently and politely, treating people with respect and kindness...(which I'm sure we all hope our children will do as they grow and mature and take on the world without us). Beyond that, it's so nice to see another locally owned business (hopefully) thriving in "our" small community. You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream at the Bistro Creamery!! 🤤 Great place to go after a nice hike at the Big Trees State Park for a refreshing and yummy treat.
