J & J's Mexican Food — Restaurant in California

WOW! We discovered this place only recently because my husband was around the corner at the vet's office and needed to pick up dinner quickly. SO happy we did!

When I called to put in the order, I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes - super quick and it was ready as promised.

My husband's fish tacos were crazy good. He said there was some white sauce on it, and even though he didn't know what it was, he said it was quite flavorful.

I had the cabeza burrito - an amazing mix of flavors, not fatty, and the cilantro and onion cut through the richness perfectly - simply delicious and completely craveable! If you don't think you're a fan of this cut, you're missing out on the most mouth-watering, juicy beef EVER!

My mom had the chicken burrito, who was amazed by the sheer size of it! She enjoyed hers as well.

The only issue we had was related to the refried beans on the side. They were ordered but we didn't receive them. I'm sure it's because it was dinner time and they were probably super busy. My husband didn't double-check it either. We didn't pay for them, so no worries!

I'm definitely going back for more!

I have eating here before I don't have any complaints about the food however the complaint I do have is that they charge you a $0.50 fee to use their card service. In 2019 people really are starting to carry little to no cash on them so this extra fee is a little bit on the cash grab side if you ask me. The only other shall we say gripe was it was extremely hot in the restaurant I don't know if they have AC or it just wasn't working or on at the moment.Wait hold up. I actually do have a slight complain about the food so when it comes to taco sauce you have to do more than just put out tomato sauce that's unacceptable. Fortunately they had three...

I came here because I heard they had some good grub. So Saturday morning finally came around. So now here at JJ's and ordered their Supreme Breakfast burrito. Its loaded with eggs, beans, cheese and potatoes. But wait!! What i got was not a burrito!! It was an elephant!!! Huge burrito er, I mean elephant!! It was gooood, really GOOD! They also have a salsa bar with green and red salsa along with carrots... awesome!! And at no extra charge double awesome! I will definitely be back!! Next time Ill get their pollo asado burrito and see what that bad...
