San Diego County Library – Spring Valley Branch — Attraction in La Presa

I gave this place two stars instead of one because there are a good amount of tables inside for how small it is and its pretty clean on the inside. But if you want to get work done or study go somewhere else. This place is worse than a coffee shop. There's a school nearby and the kids (prolly like 9-12yo) that come are loud af, run around, bang on windows and dry hump anything nearby (I wish I was joking) and the staff does nothing about it. At one point the staff let the kids play video games and I felt like i was at boomers or a youth rec center. Honestly, I’m not sure how anyone could say this is a library. Thought this was going to be a good little study spot, but i'll stick with the rancho library... at least staff take charge and kick out the kids that act stupid...

The manager is amazing, calm, loving, and so helpful, the staff go out of their way to help, in other words they are an extention of the managers belief for the love of children and their parents. Right now with the heat problems they make you feel safe and cool and like your second home. I highly recommend this library to the families and the public, in closing they have excellent security to handle any situation promptly making it a wonderful and safe experience...

I suggest to hire a new staff and train them well how to run a better library.

I don't recommend this to anyone because the library is too noisy, kids are screaming, running around the lobby, screaming, and parents are allowing their children to do whatever they want. I can't concentrate do my homework. Poor...
