I just moved to this area and was so excited to see a Jimboys around the corner! Was very disappointed by my visit, though.
The woman running the drive-thru window was VERY unfriendly. When I pulled up to the speaker of the empty drive thru, I sat there for a few minutes before she just said "Yes?" I said "Sorry, hello! How are you doing?" There was silence until she responded "What's your order?" In an angry voice. I got the 6-pack of beef tacos and a bean and cheese burrito.
When I got to the window I again tried to be friendly but the woman just scowled at me and took my money, closed the window, then gave me my change without a word. She opened the window almost immediately after and gave me my order.
The tacos were lukewarm and had clearly been sitting out. There was barely any cheese on them, and my burrito was made with an old, stale tortilla.
Jimboys is my favorite taco chain. The prices seem to just get more and more expensive, which is understandable, but as they get more expensive the quality seems to suffer, which isn't what you would expect, lol.
If I'm paying $25 for one burrito and some tacos, I'd at least like them to be freshly made, and while I understand that it can be annoying to deal with impatient people all day, when you get a customer who is actually polite it would be nice if you weren't so mean to them, lol.
This location is right around the corner from me, and I'll definitely give it another chance; everyone has bad days. It sucks that Jimboys locations are so spread out because if the service here is the same next time I will probably just grab Del Taco right down the street in the future
☹️ they're not as good but they're much cheaper and at least made fresh when...
Read moreThis has to be the worst Jimboys I have ever encountered. We orderd 3 tacos and a super nachos all with extra cheese costing us $18.92. When we got home and I started to eat my nachos, until I realized that I was missing green onions, and had only ONE OLIVE. I tried to let it go, but I couldn't. Drove back down there and the supervisor started to say that it doesn't come with green onions in olives. And when I went to look at the menu, he says, oh yeah, it does. I told him that I was not really liking it.Can I just exchange it for 3 tacos. Idiot told me.Why don't we just add it on top. I said that's not what I wanted. I said, what's it gonna take? So I pulled out my wallet taking out all my cards trying to show that i'm not there to mooch off them. But because I was, in my shorts and sure maybe he thinks I was homeless or something trying to get over on them. Anyways, he says, well I can give you a discount and wanted to charge me an additional. $4.95! He did not say sorry, and it really ticked me off. So I told him he could keep it, and I left the nachos there, and I left. Meaning I did not eat and they kept my $. I am not there to get over I can afford what ever meal I want. I just wanted a decent meal. But your customer service there's nonexistent and i was judged. Im calling corporate. Time was 7:30 pm on 8/28/24 for reference to who was on shift....
Read moreThere is a drastic paradigm shift in customer service, the supply chain; the global international financial outlook towards the survival of capitalistic corporate business tender.
In short few businesses will survive. With that said my experience below:
In basic We were the lone single customer vehicle. Despite this, the order was rushed. The order consisted of 3 beef tacos and 1 bean and cheese burrito. The employees got the food out fast, in fact too fast. This had to be a record; faster than any JB’s I have ever been to. The food was not cooked well enough. The taco shells were soggy. The meat (beef) was still oily from cooking with a lack of simply adequately and fully draining the beef fat. I can only imagine how it could have tasted with 30 seconds more detail to care placed? However this will have to remain in an imaginary realm.
The beans found within the bean and cheese burrito were not heated up nor cooked well either. The burrito was sparse, under cooked and lacking.
In essence The strange meandering drive-thru was like doing an obstacle course. The voice on the speaker, although friendly was hard to understand.
To surmise “I just don’t see the point in returning back to this particular...
