No Stars Absolutely Horrible describes my experience at the Popeye's on Watt and Elkhorn today!!! To begin I paid $25 plus tax for a family meal and when I asked for a couple of condiments they told me they needed to charge me. I didn't specifically ask them to give me fresh hot fries after waiting in the Drive-Thru for my meal for approximately 10 minutes no cars in front of me I then proceeded to drive off and taste a french fry (Ice cold). I politely walked up to the counter and asked the manager if he could please replace them with hot fries I invited him to taste them. He touch them and agree that they were absolutely cold. Heathen politely asked me if I would like to wait for about 3 minutes for another ordee of Fry's. I said sure. Suddenly the cook chimed in and asked another server what was the problem. The other guy said fries. The server then turned around to approach me as the manager and I were tossing our french fries into the trash. He Step infront of the trash can in my fry hit him on the front of his apron. He jokingly said "what do I look like trash"! I apologized and then he went on to go back and conversate with the cook the cook then tosses another set of fries into the basket and says here you go! The manager scoops of the order of fries, as he hands them to me, he asked me if I want to try one. I replied sure. I bit into it (ice cold). I said try this! The manager he bit into one and said "they are cold". He asked the cook to drop fresh french fries and the cook instantly became a comedian! But begins to speak in another language to the server they are just having a great time laughing and talking while I'm waiting and waiting and waiting So eventually I asked the manager if I could at least get a drink and I waited and I waited and I waited all the while the cook is still cracking jokes and he and the server are just lauģhing it up! While waiting well over 20 minutes, I finally lost it and told the cook "less talking and more cooking". And then I said I find it rather rude that you're cracking jokes in "Spanish" but you can speak English just fine! I've been said I don't find anything funny $25 and 25 minutes later. After waiting about three to five more minutes my fresh order of fries was finally up. I politely said Thank you to the manager and I left for home to relax and eat with my children. As my youngest son begin to make his plate I asked him why was he eating my mashed potatoes and gravy when I got him red beans and rice his reply was mom there's are two mashed potatoes and gravy here and where are the biscuits? Hi told him to keep his plate I packed up the rest of the food and I took you back to Popeyes I politely asked the manager for my money back and told him that my entire experience with them today from beginning to end was horrible. The way the cook was responding to my request was just so Rude and Unprofessional. He then asked me if I wanted him to replace the order. My reply, "No thank you, please just return my money. At first that was going to be my request that you just replace the meal, but not today! I like you on most days but just not today. Maybe I will give you a chance another day!!! Bye Popeyes! I have to go find me something to Eat😏🤔...
Read moreA friend and I went thru the drive thru and the person asking for the order seemed a little sarcastic,rude and demanding, my friend had to repeat our order like three times, then he tells her 'wait! say the first order, okay! My friend asked what was his name, and he replied I'm the manager! So after we went over the order for the last time we drove towards the window. The guy was nice face to face, asked if we would like condiments, took the money and gave us our drinks and bag, when we got to our place and opened our bag, we got a bunch of condiments, a small boat of fries;when we ordered two meals, and all the sodas were warm the ice was gone before we sat down;like ten minutes later, and the chicken was over salted. This manager needs to let his employees work instead of him trying to do everything, we saw a couple of people standing by while he was telling them what was needed, and at least taste test the food or watch how it's prepped, better customer service on the order box or fix it if he can't understand what people are asking, at least MANAGE to know how to MANAGE! not just because that's his title; work on being a true, know how to, customer, employee...
Read moreI love Popeyes don’t get me wrong, I could eat there almost 3 times a week. Today I had a horrible experience with my local Popeyes today. When I go there I usually get the 2 can dine for $10 deal that they have taken off and put back on the menu many times but I love that deal it’s awesome, well was. Today I go in and order the usually and I get home to find that I have the wrong chicken; they gave me boned chicken when I usually get tenders. I also appear to be missing the two biscuits. I go back in and ask why I had the wrong chicken and no biscuits and he claimed that I took the biscuits and that they don’t serve the 2 can dine for $10 with tenders and claimed that all employees that have given me tenders should be fired. I said to him that I either want my food or a refund and so rudely swiped the food out of my hands and tosses it away and then proceeds to swipe my card from my hand and makes me wait for the refund.
