I have been going for the last 10 years or more. I have ordered for B-days, showers, and work pot lucks. I paid up to $400.00 I pass this store to and from work. The last 2-3 years they start to increased prices and have more and more new faces. I don't know them and don't get to know them as they come and go. I think this is causing the lack of stability and mix attitude. I have come lesser and lesser. I want the owner to start including fresh coconut when selling not only Bibingcas but also the putos and kutsinta. This is a culture. Been here in US 35 years but grew up in the Philippines. I would pay extra but for them to say they are out @ 7:50 in the A.M. not 4 but 5th time now tells me they moved away from the culture. The other biggest problem is the rice cook. He or she need to learn to cook rice so it can be eaten. The owner need to cook rice themselves. If the owner did cook the rice that is hard rock, not cooked or turns like mashed potatoes, then need to get out of this business. I paid full price even when the rice cannot be eaten. This represent disrespect to our Filipinos folks and disgrace . I learned to cook rice at 5 years old. They owe a lot of people with this trick they play. That morning a lot of people not just me took home that mashed watery...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis bakery is colocated in the same building as Snoice. It sits 30 feet from Snoice. I walked into the bathroom and after noticing there was NO soap, nor container, I left without using the bathroom. An employee from Snoice informed me that Kababayan Bakery is responsible for the bathroom. When I told a guy who works at the bakery there was no soap, nor a container for soap in the bathroom, he just looked at me. I waited for my food from Snoice and hung around for 14 minutes waiting for someone from Kababayan Bakery to put soap in the bathroom. During the 14 minutes several people, customers and employees, went into the bathroom to use it. I walked into the bathroom afterward and there was still NO SOAP. An employee from Snoice offered soap to me and wanted me to put the soap into the bathroom, but to bring it back. I think it's disgusting that employees and customers used their bathroom without using soap before they left. It's more of a health concern for customers and employees alike. After I left I vowed to never come back and buy anything from the bakery or Snoice. I"m calling the health...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I went in here around 4pm on Wednesday with my son and nephew. The first thing my son whispers to me is they have hair in the bread (they had some bread out wrapped in plastic and there definitely was hair in it). The workers just stared at us like they never seen a different race before but anywho, they had no food out, no pictures of food, or a menu I could see. I asked one of the workers if there was a menu. He just stared at me like I was bothering him and said ānoā then he walked by the registers picks up a piece of paper and puts it back down and walks over and saids no we donāt have a menu (side note there are people checking out at the register so how did these people order food then? If the menu is on a paper, QR code, or online thatās all he had to say instead of being rude). So, there was a long awkward pause as Iām looking at him and then the people paying for food. I said, ā Weāll just take our service across the streetā. They lack customer service badly and I should of walked out when my son told me about the hair...
