K T Donuts #2 — Restaurant in California

As a regular user of the Too Good to Go app, I just wanted to clarify something about KT Donuts. They don’t accept regular To-Go orders, but they do offer leftover donuts at discounted prices through the Too Good to Go app. These donuts are what’s left at the end of the day, and the whole idea is to help reduce waste and provide affordable options for those who might need them.

I’ve personally used the app a few times, and while I get that it’s disappointing if an order sells out, it’s important to remember that these donuts are leftovers of the day. KT Donuts makes fresh donuts every day, and there are always plenty of brand new ones on display for purchase at a regular price. The issue here is that some customers refused to buy those fresh donuts simply because the Too Good to Go ones were sold out. Let’s be clear: the donuts on the app are sold for the day, not fresh, brand new donuts.

Let’s be mindful of using this service responsibly. The app is intended for people who genuinely need affordable food, and when it’s abused, it ruins it for others. My absolute favorite is the Chocolate Bavarian Creme (gotta catch it early)!!! 🤤😋😋😋😋🤣😂

My son loves the maple and the small, round sprinkled donuts or the like. Hubby likes the Apple Fritter 🍎. My brother likes glazed like donuts. Ok. Ok. I admit, I like to take little pieces so I can eat the variety. Am I the only one? Oh, they have those large muffins, too like Blueberry, apple, and bran. Yummy!

If you try it, I'm sure you'll come back for sure. Just bring 💸 no debit/credit cards. They don't stay open super late like the large retail donut stores nor do they have supplemental breakfast or lunch sandwiches or blended drinks. They do have fresh coffee (maybe hot chocolate?) and a nice variety of other refrigerated beverages.

If I could give them 0 I would, l placed an order online, IN THE MORNING, drove 20 minutes to come pick up my order in the evening- that I had already paid for. I came in and they said “they sold out.” Yet the display was fully stocked but they refused to give them to me because those are “to sell.” They refunded my order but gave me 0 notice or warning. The costumer service is horrible, they are greedy people who will sell ur online order if they can make a full extra bucks selling them in person. Genuinely one of the worst costumer service experiences I have ever had, I am just baffled at the complete and utter lack of respect for my money or my time. Please do not support the greedy and rude people that own this donut store. Also keep in the mind the person serving me was not just some hired worker, it was the owners son.. this is the kind of people running...
