Decent enough donut shop in Elk Grove. Typical assortment of donuts with a couple topped with cereal or bacon. Croissants are large, buttery and flakey. Today I missed lunch and it was around 3pm. The sirens call of the nearby McDonalds was trying to lure me, but I really didn't want something greasy and fried. I decided to stop into Kacie's first and see what they have. And I am so glad I did! They have a ham sandwich on a croissant and it was exactly what I needed. Made to order, it was loaded with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, sweet pickles and banana peppers, topped with mayo and mustard. It was very satisfying without the post fast food guilt, lol. Cute + Quaint + Donut Shop with easy access to highway 5 freeway.

I walked into Kacie's and my senses were immediately awaken with sweet fragrances of sweet butter, cocoa, vanilla and roasted coffee. I was captured by the beautiful display of art, delicious, tasty, scrumptious, Do-Nuts.

Sophia was extremely sweet, attentive and prided herself, with placing each donut delicately into our pink little box. We also recieved an extra donut on upon opening our box, which was a really nice gesture.

I ordered buttermilk old fashioned donut, donut holes and they did not disappoint. Mouth-watering donuts that melt on your tongue.

We found this place by accident right when they had opened in the morning. Donut shops often have a cloying greasy sweet smell, but this place was a whole new world. It smelled warm and welcoming is the only way to discribe it. . we had been loading lumber and art stuff all night and were looking a little rough but the 2 folks working there were helpful, charming and didnt hover. Coffee was great and they obviously know coffee becouse it was strong, fresh and freshly ground. Their pastries are incredible light raised donuts that could float.
