Always thought this place had mediocre food. Never good, just ok. But decided to give their Tuesday Taco special that they blatantly advertised in broad signage in front a try. His was the first Tuesday they had advertised this special. Once we sat down we were informed there were no taco specials and that there was a single chicken tostada option for $1.50. We ordered two and of course in typical fashion the food was super bland and lackluster. Then we tried to salvage the night and order a combo meal. Surprise surprise, burning bland and poor quality food. We have no problem spending good money for good food. We usually always eat authentic Mexican at El Molino. It’s definitely more pricey but they are ALWAYS consistent and use the highest quality ingredients. Don’t waste your money and devalue your desire to eat better food by dining at Hacienda. Cross the street and you’ll experience 100x more than you’ll expect. Don’t settle for less and demand better, especially for your money. Btw- anyone that says this place has good decent food doesn’t have a real sense of quality and probably doesn’t...
Read morePeople who call this place authentic are uneducated, it's like me calling panda Express authentic Chinese food. Food is okay, it's consistent and the prices are fair. I've been going here for almost 15 years and the owner and waitresses act like they've never seen me before everytime I come back. Sometimes the waitresses are rude and seem bothered by your visit. I do like the parking situation as on this side of town doesn't have a lot of parking which I think is why this place has success. Salsa bar is good and you can refill yourself as the waitresses don't stop by your table much. It is a bit loud so bring your loud voice. Dinner time is usually super busy but their outdoor patio has been nice since it opened last year. If you want Authentic mexican food go across the street to El Molino, a bit pricier but the food is delicious and flavorful. Parking there is tight but they did add...
Read moreThat"s the place to go if you'll settle for food that is only "good" in quantity, and only "good" in quality. I've certainly had much much better food at other taquerías. The prices at Taquería La Hacienda are not too disconcerting. However, what WAS VERY disconcerting was our waitress. She was abrupt, impatient, and noticeably unattentive, to say the least. She asked us if we needed something else as she briskly walked by our table. DIDN'T EVEN STOP to ask. but just kept walking. It was at best, a token gesture with no real issue of concern. Was the place so busy that she was just overwhelmed? No. We were the only patrons there. To be nice, I'd say that as a server, she was two tacos shy of a combination plate. I should have handed her my straw and...
