The worst Mexican restaurant I have ever attended. I ordered a beef quesadilla, which had barley any cheese, gigantic chunks of beef stew meat, beef in a Mexican place is usually asada. and tons of lettuce. My fiancé ordered a burrito, he received two smothered burritos, with gigantic chunks of beef stew meat as well. They serve super old cilantro also. Don’t waste your money on this place. Quesadilla pictured.

Very good food. Every item had a distinctive, homemade taste, and the portions are very large. The atmosphere is very casual and relaxing, and the restaurant itself is very clean and bright. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and the prices very reasonable. Do not pass up this little Mexican restaurant if you are in the area or if you are a local resident.

Las Minas Mexican Restaurant is a wonderful, family friendly place to eat. My family and I have eaten her many times for many years. Rachel, Magdalena, and Judith are always pleasant and the food is great too. Today I had customized nachos. They had beans, cheese, grilled chicken, chipotle sauce, green salsa, and cilantro. They were absolutely delicious.

So I'm really not sure about this place and will dine there again and possibly update my review. Here is my take away from my first experience: Food: I ordered a chimichanga dinner with beef (chili colorado). It was really good except it tasted like the oil in their fryer needed to be changed. That automatically turns me away. My husband had the chili Verde and LOVED it and he is pretty picky. Both my boys (10 and 15) liked their simple dishes. One had the burrito supreme and the other had a bean burrito. Overall, the food def satisfied my craving for mexican food. Service: We went on a Thursday night around 530 PM and waited an hour for our food. We were not happy about that at all and that seems to be a recurring theme at all the restaurants in our little sleepy town. We had numerous refills of drinks and tortilla chips during this wait time. Cost: serving sizes were pretty large and we felt that the overall ticket price was fair.

Cleanliness: This is the most important subject for me. Mediocre food can often receive a bump up in score if the place is super clean unfortunately the reason I give this place three stars is the cleanliness. Because they are attached to a gas station I had to beg my husband to try this place. And because they are attached to a gas station they need to have this place super clean, they did not. Where we sat was a thermostat that had an inch of dust on the top. there were food splatters in the wall and overall it felt as though the dining area needed a good cleaning. the vents in the ceiling were dusty and dirty as well. And like I said earlier... the frying oil tasted like it needed to be changed. The cleanliness left me feeling skeptical of eating the food.

I really really want to like this place. We are new to town and have been venturing out to try the few restaurants that serve here. We will return here in a month and try it again to see if all remains the same. If my reviews deserves to be updated...

I was skeptical about trying a restaurant attached to a gas station. We stopped for lunch and I had a decent meal. What I absolutely loved, was the amazing “gravy sauce” they make their. I typically lean towards a somewhat spicy salsa flavor. Yet this “gravy” was exceptional. So much so I have been back almost weekly to have more. I usually have the enchiladas which come loaded with full pieces of chicken not ground bits. Everything is fresh. But now I order my food with the gravy over the top and it is soooo good. You can order it on anything including for dipping your chips. The service is very good. As an example I came in to pick up my to go order. I saw they have added a mole type sauce to the permanent menu. I asked if I could taste some of the sauce. They were not able to give me a taste because they make the mole as you order it. Nothing is pre cooked or prepared ahead of time and I was impressed but then they took it up a notch. When they gave me my order, they made an extra enchilada with the new mole sauce for me at no charge! I was shocked and felt like I was important to them. Our biggest problem now, the mole sauce has that extra flavor that is so darn good! My husband now claims it as his favorite. I still am on the fence because I still love the gravy. Don’t drive by without stopping and trying something that is unique in flavor and...

This restraunt was not what I expected. I have given this restraunt many chances.. Ive gone there 2 years ago and loved their food. It was absolutely amazing. But their quality has gone down dramatically. I went there with my grandparents as a get away dinner tonight. My grandmother ordered the chile rellno and my grandfather ordered a quesadilla and I ordered a tamale and a few tacos. My grandmothers plate had black grease all over it with stuck on food to her plate underneath. She ended up throwing up on her plate unable to eat anymore. My grandfather was not able to eat his meal due to bland flavoring and a dry meal. I had 3 bites of my tamale before I threw up from eating bad meat. Our waiter was very inappropriate and rude. They laughed at my family for throwing up our food.. And i personally knew the waiter and they decided to take that to their advantage and made inappropriate comments.. I am very displeased and my family and I will not be...
