I've been looking for a cemita poblana forever (so hard to find in California but I was introduced to it in Mexico City) so I decided to check out this place. I knew this place would be good because they had a bunch of authentic Mexican dishes that are off the beaten path but popular in Mexico City.
Guy at the counter was super nice. Got a cemita and a pambazo; both were delicious! The cemita had tons of papalo leaves which have a very distinct flavor that I love. It also came with Oaxacan cheese and chipotle peppers that were the best I've had. The pambazo was super flavorful with potatoes, chorizo, and crema and actually was my favorite of the two.
Definitely want to try the tlayuda and the barbacoa next time I stop in...

I'm vegetarian and they are always willing to change virtually any menu item to be vegetarian friendly. They have a couple of vegetarian options that do not need changing. I like to add a grilled nopal to all the dishes I order and they never make it a big deal.
