This place has lost the great service it used to have. Now it's selfish employees picking and choosing who they are going to serve first. I paid for my order and sat and waited over 30 minutes, while watching 3 separate people that ordered after me get their orders and leave, I stood up and asked the lady where was my order and why did the people after me get they're orders already and I'm still waiting? She said oops, I must of lost your order. No sorry or nothing, ( how do you lose an order when the cook and you are side by side, back to back? ) then tells me it'll be done now. I still waited another 9/10 minutes for them to get it ready. Finally when they hand me my bag I asked her for extra lemons, she snaps at me, "there's already some in the bag" I stared at her and she could see my anger in my face, then she asked "oh do you want extra" once she realized how upset I was. To top it off, when I got home the burrito had barely any meat in it. It was all tortilla. I was so upset by the whole situation i didnt even eat it. I went there because you usually get a pretty large burrito full of meat... What I did notice was that everyone was paying cash and dropping the change in their tip cup, I was the only one to pay with card so I couldn't tip. So I see that it was done on purpose. I called the store today to complain and they denied me any type of contact info for the company or managers, rather they said to give them the complaint and they would give it to the higher ups. (Sure they will) this is sad. To get this service at the original and true location of Mariscos is the worst part. I hope the owners or someone that can make a change see's this and addresses the situation. They lost my business. And I'm sure plenty of other's...
Read moreI ordered 5 asada tacos at the chestnut and Clinton location. 3 with cilantro only and 2 plain. The cashier asks me if that means I want the tacos on seperate plates. I reply yes but when the order comes up the 2 tacos are covered in cilantro and onions. My boyfriend takes them back and let's them know the mistake while I get chile. The cashier then proceeds to talk about me to the cooks about how I never ordered plain tacos, I'm making them redo it for nothing, and don't know what I want. I go to sit down and my boyfriend is upset because not only was she loud enough for me to hear but she's loud enough for everyone seated at tables located by the parking lot to hear about her complain about me so now everyone is staring at me. They then get the order wrong AGAIN but this time decide to just dump the meat off and give me soggy tortillas with cilantro stuck to them and call them new. I come to this taco truck quite often due to how close it is at work and this is the first time I've seen this cashier. I will not be going back due to her poor customer service and attitude. I completely understand wanting to cover her butt with the cooks over her mistake (because she confirmed TWICE that the tacos were plain) but she didn't need to do so in a way that embarrasses her customers. She was rude and as a result of her continued mistakes to the cooks, they became rude to my boyfriend and myself over our order as well. I will never come back to eat her again and I will make sure all of my friends, family, and coworkers know how they treat their paying...
Read moreI tried the special of the day. A torta and a soda your choice of meat asada, adobada, pollo, carnitas $9.50. I got adobada.
There wasn't very much on the torta. A little meat very very little lettuce and avocado. Thick mayo 😳. There was a lot of the bread, but not much for inside the torta. It was a little dry and not as flavorful as what I have previously experienced here.
My family loves this place. Even though I didn't care for the torta, I'd still recommend them for burritos, tacos, asada quesadillas, fish tacos, and also for their seafood truck.
This place is usually very very good. Their fire grilled asada is fabulous.
I came through from out of town to visit with two of my kids.
My kids did loved their tacos beans and rice. They had carnitas and asada on their two tacos plate with beans and rice. $7.99
I'm happy my kids enjoyed their meal. They cleaned their plates. I'd give their...
