Mary's Pizza Shack — Restaurant in California

So sad to have to give 1 star to one of my favorite spot to go. I hate to give bad reviews so I only do it when is deserved. I was at Mary’s in notes hot spring yesterday 6-6-18, got a table for 3 and I was ready to enjoy my favorite pasta, gnocchi with giant meat ball. I ate my salad that came with my pasta and asked the server for my bread and butter which also comes with the pasta, she tossed it on the table but I thought, okay she’s busy it’s okay. I started eating my pasta and when I got to meatball it was super hard as a rock because the bottom had been burnt I tried eating around it but it was just not okay to even enjoy so I let my server know I’m a very nice apologetic way that I just couldn’t eat it she said to give her 2 mins and came back with bill after taking of the salad which I had actually enjoyed! I was charged 15.75 for a pasta I didn’t eat and I just couldn’t stay quiet I told her I’m so sorry but I actually enjoyed salad not the pasta and she cut me off in the middle of expressing my dissatisfaction, she said in a loud voice ‘so what would u like me to do’ I was so sad to have that service I just told her I would like to pay for my salad and bread and rest of food just not the pasty since I couldn’t enjoy it. She took check without a word and returned it saying ‘he took off all of it’ I’m not sure who HE was but I was not charged for pasta and I paid gave her only 10% tip that my brother didn’t think was even deserve but I just knew I wouldn’t be coming back and that was enough for me. They have got my order wrong 7 times in a row for pickup. They didn't even have to deliver and still managed to mess it up in house, 7 orders in a row in a span of years. Like if I ordered twice a year for 3 1/2 years, they have all been the wrong item. Second to last time they gave my order to somebody else!!!!! Then the last time I ordered a meat lovers Pizza and they gave me a Hawaiian pizza the pineapple ruined it nobody ate that night at my house. unfortunately I did not notice this mistake until I got home, opened the box and saw that it was a Hawaiian pizza. Due to their severe negligence and incompetence I refuse to order from Mary's in Sonoma. it is a very sad thing to say that Little Caesars is better than Mary's because Little Caesars is not good. I couldn't imagine what has these people so heavily distracted. I'm just so curious because I've called them every time and they all they do is refund me or make more food but why can't they just get it right what's wrong with these people has anyone else had the same experience? leave it in a review so I can...

Sadly, Mary’s just isn’t what it used to be. The service is always amazing, the atmosphere is great. However the menu has changed so much that it’s gone from a home cooked, generous portion family experience to a more cookie cutter, smaller portion menu that has strayed too far from the basics. Bottom line is that the food used to be reasonably priced, not over the top good, but comfort type food that had a very family centric vibe. The menu now still has morphed into something overpriced, modified dishes that are not all that good and the pizza — which used to be amazing, is now decent, but really overpriced and skimpy on toppings. Clearly they had some corporate consultants optimize their menu, pricing structure, food quantity/quality and while it might be a good short term strategy in a PowerPoint presentation, you end up with an overall product that strays from the magic that Mary built. This is pretty much the general opinion of those of us that used to see Mary in the restaurant…she would not be happy with what has become of her once...
