Mexico Lindo Y Que Rico — Restaurant in California

Where do I start? long story short :: terrible service and very inconvenient…. They have lazy staff who go beyond being inconsiderate. even towards elderly people which was astonishing... they were out of half their menu…seems to be the norm I guess.

Long story long:

We order whatever items are available.She even read the order back to us. My grandma’s meal included along with everything else We pay Pick a table sit food arrives

my grandma=missing her entire order. But we are told it’s coming not to worry.

10min later we asked the lady again she said it would be right out The drink brings it immediately. food’s coming out any minute. cool. 20min later we asked someone else this time But they actually went to check & seemed very concerned like you would’ve expected any server to be seeing as we had all finished our food. They return State that they informed the kitchen and were sorry and it was still being prepared.

10 minutes later.. Gma=starving feeling sick(she’s diabetic)this is pretty bad…about as bad as going out to eat gets..Or So we thought anyway until it gets even worse… Original lady informed us due to her mistake,which she took full accountability for and was sorry for,said her plate was completely erased from the transaction she doesn’t know how or why… but somehow it disappeared and the kitchen never got it to begin with. By now everyone else was done including dessert because it’s ordered all together (except my 76yr Old grandmothers food that is)

She asks if we still even wanted the food she had ordered and if so we’d need to wait for it to be cooked and pay for the plate if so.. to which we obviously responded with :”of course she’s hungry.yes, we still wanted the food. “ she reminds us that if we do that we would be charged for it on another bill. Separate transaction($1) fee full price.

and at this point we just wanted my grandmother to eat I mean whatever you want just bring the food please .. We ask if she need the card now to charge it before the food comes?she said no no it’s fine…

almost an hour and half after everyone else gets their food.. Her food has finally arrived

I guess When the lady went to tell the kitchen she didn’t even make sure they got her order right or give them any specifics.. even though my poor starving grandma repeated what she had ordered to the lady at least 3 times in this whole debacle. very specifically mind you and in great detail (no meat add onions just cheese enchilada and sauce and the onion that’s it)

easy. Or so you’d think…

they put meat in the enchiladas anyway and didn’t put the onions she asked for on it. she doesn’t like to eat meat but really didn’t want to spend any more time here at all and she was so hungry at this point she needed to eat something…

She eats the food anyway And as we are getting ready to leave from this awful experience

Here she comes to ask for the Card to pay for the enchiladas which they forgot to charge for… and messed up and that were an hour and a half late acting as if it was our fault we hadn’t payed yet.. even though we asked if they wanted the card earlier… I was upset and irritated now. And asked if they were planning to discount the food or anything because it shouldn’t have had meat in it to which we were told no .they asked if we wanted it and we said yes so we need to pay for what she got. I had to ask if they would wave the dollar fee for using the card because they need up not us. Ok they’ll wave the dollar fee only upon my request… but we were asked to pay full price because we didn’t send the food back even though we could’ve. We paid the price for the meal WITH MEAT!!! She didn’t even order that but was so hungry at this point what choice did she have? To wait for another plate of food that could take another hour to arrive or ?? I mean we weren’t expecting anything crazy but they did nothing to fix their mistake absolutely nothing… I’ve never been to a business that cared so little about...

Do not go eat at this place, it is absolute crap! I'm actually surprised it's not closed down by now! Service is poor, food was probably the worst Mexican food I have ever had in my life! And way overpriced for the pathetic service and food! The wife and I went to go try it on a Saturday night because we haven't eaten there and we wanted to try an authentic Mexican food place and it definitely looks like it. The spelling on the menu was wrong. I got the barbacoa burrito, And my wife had barbacoa tacos.and some rice pudding. Well they ran out of Barbacoa after they gave my wife the last bit, I chose Carne meat instead. And they did not have any rice pudding of course, after we had ordered it, we chose the flan instead. No "I'm sorry's" no refunds, just get your food and get the F out of there. It took 40 minutes for them to get our simple orders ready. When we ate them at home they were cold and overcooked, my wife's barbacoa smelled and tasted slightly like fish, and she's Allergic! My carne burrito had tons of gristle. I stomached part of my burrito, and my wife cannot eat her food. The only good parts were the soda and the flan. So there's probably tons of cross-contamination with the meats so watch out. The place was dirty as all heck, they put no time or effort into what they cook, there's no spices on the meat. They looked like they only have one professional cook on staff, and the rest are winging it! The only reason I'm not giving a zero is because...

I wanna give this place 5 stars but unfortunately ima stick with a two . Friends wanted to come here and I was a bit hestitant reading the comments about their Birria being bland and tasteless. Man… let me get back to that in a bit. The atmosphere was great looks wonderful on the outside and on the inside love the atmosphere. The good thing is that they have varieties of food to choose from. Their quesadilla is good though it was was literally the size of my arm. And I got some long arms. The tortillas are freshly made. It’s loaded with lechuga, queso fresco which I didn’t care for it was kind of sour too me and mozzerella cheeses. Their salsa do pack a punch especially the salsa rojo. Ordered the taco de lengua, taco de pollo and of course the finale their famous birria taco. I wanted to like it but they gave me nothing but fat. It tasted like carne de res but it had no flavor to it it was bland and tasteless the tortilla was crunchy perfect but the birria was def a miss and a disappointment their horchata con Fresca tasted more like leche condensada. I couldn’t finish but my partner enjoyed his horchata. So if your in the area def get their tacos and the quesadillas. Overall place is clean service could improve a bit other then that it’s a decent...
