Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in California

The only reason this isn't a 1 stare review is because our delivery drive was amazing. Very personable and kind. Absolutely nothing against him. This review is because the service at this place has gone Absolutely down hill. Tonight I ordered a pizza at 6:27 and didn't get it until 8:17. This is a ridiculous amount of time. This isn't the only bad experience lately. On December 19th I was there for dine in and it took over an hour and 20 minutes to get our pizza then to. When it was given to us it was cold. Not sure how that's possible with dine it but it happened. We order 12 wings as well and they forgot them. When our pizza was given to us they were reminded and they had obviously forgot with the panic look on there face. Then all we see if scrounging through the delivery orders and our wings arrived. Not correctly though. We had ordered Buffalo wings and our wings came with no sauce at all. This place really just doesn't care anymore. Just wants to make there money and move on. Let me start off by saying this, I always give the benefit of the doubt before I ever result to leaving a review. Upon entering I immediately knew they were severely understaffed however I gave sympathy to the fact that service was slow due to that reason however the gentlemen was very mono toned and not friendly whatever people have bad days I proceeded to pay for the lunch buffet. The food looked sad. Pizza was dry definitely not at holding temperatures I’m like okay it’s just pizza however I get to the salad bar! I notice the salad fixings are soggy and brown looking. This sometimes happens when fresh vegetables are exposed to air, however the bite is what did it the mushrooms were soggy with mildew. The beets tasted like they were old and improperly stored.

I immediately knew at that point I would end up with some sort of food borne illness if I stayed and ate. They were kind with giving me a refund.

My suggestion would be to check that salad bar for freshness. Pizza is an easy thing to pass off as being dried out vs non...

Mountain Mike’s has a new owners! Thank you to the new owners for making things right from our pizza order on April 12, 2025! Misha Sood, the new owner, addressed my concerns regarding poor customer service to the quality of the pizza we order from the previously owned management.The new owner took accountability for the poor mismanagement from the previous owner.

Misha went above and beyond to make things right! She remade our order with great care, quality ingredients, and great customer service! She took time, energy and went out of her way to call us personally to make things right!

Our family will be back to the North Highlands Mountain Mike’s Pizza! And if you are in the Roseville-Douglas Blvd area, you can order from another Misha owned Mountain Mike’s location!
