The food is sooooooo good!! I order every week - I get the goat stew and FuFu🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 customer service is amazing too!

Update: I spoke too soon 😟 I went back last week and the customer service seemed like I was on an episode of Punk’d. I was waiting on Ashton Kutcher to come out from the back.

First off I called in my order at 6:50ish and was told it would be 30 minutes. I got there about 15 minutes later and patiently waited the additional 15 mins. The hostess said it would be about 5 more minutes. No problem. 15 mins later she brought me a bag of food and said sorry for the wait. I almost make it to the highway to head back towards home(we needed to stop and pick up my husband’s food by 8p) my phone rings and its the hostess saying I needed to bring the food back because it wasn’t mine as she gave me the wrong order. I turned around and brought it back and proceeded to wait an additional 10 mins for the WRONG order AGAIN! At this point I asked for a refund and was told it would be less than a minute for them to fix it. It took more like 5 and we didn’t make it in time to get my husband’s food either.

I am a business owner and there is NO WAY I would inconvenience any one of my customers without offering to compensate them somehow because I respect them as people and not just for the money they spend with me. I honor their business because I can’t run my company without their patronage, trust, and loyalty.

It’s unfortunate to have such an extremely negative experience such as this especially when they expect payment before bringing out your pick up order. I tip every time I come in as well, including this particular night.

One thing about me is I don’t play with other people’s money or time because I don’t want anyone to play with mine. Gross error in customer service such as this will have me taking my money and...

Not sure how you could give this place a bad review to be honest! I was scrolling on TikTok and found egusi and fufu. 37 weeks pregnant I hadn't had a strong craving in awhile until I saw it. Showed it to my fiancé and found out this is the closest place from our place in placer county that makes it. Immediately sold and agreed we'd head out lol. For starters, I didn't realize how healthy egusi and okra soup are for you. Upon finding it out, only excited us more to try.

When we got there we were the only ones in. However, it picked up near the end of our visit. We were well tended to. The mango juice, was so good. Definitely could taste fresh mango in that drink versus any artificial flavors.

The egusi and okra were both amazing. I got beef in my egusi and my fiancé had chicken in his okra and I must say both meats were excellent pairings with what we got. The chicken fell right off the bone and the beef had some fatty pieces some not it was a well balanced mix and tasted great with the egusi.

The fufu we loved! I tried it both ways swallowing it whole and chewing it. I will say it tasted better swallowing altogether when it was nice and fresh and chewing it a little as it cooled down.

Definitely a first timer to African cuisine but, will definitely be back sometime in the near future. Wish someone introduced me to this place and food much sooner because I feel like I would've been addicted a...

Was visiting Sacramento and wanted some Nigerian food. Looked it up on Google and this place popped up. Read the reviews and they were pretty good. I always liked to go see for myself, so I did. I called in the order and the lady that answered was super nice. I ordered okra soup with goat meat and pounded yam. She tells me how long about 45 min which was perfect because I had to pick up something for my son. I get there and the place was empty...someone in the back advised that someone would be with me shortly. sure enough someone comes out the back to help. My food was bagged and ready to go, I pay and carry on a great convo with the cashier. I get about 5 10 min from the restaurant and decided to try a bit..low and behold I got the wrong soup, it was egusi. Luckily it was SUPER delicious, but I still called to let them know and she said that she would replace it when I come back in town. I'm hoping it's still true because I'll be in town for 4th of July and I'm craving it!! they're food is really good and I can't wait to try the...

First time trying an African restaurant. The complexity of the ingredients were very interesting and delicious in the best way possible. Every mouth full was a different experience. For example, I tried the Goat Egusi Fufu, and the ratios of sauce/ meat and Fufu changed in every bite. The food was comforting simultaneously unexpected. The ingredients in the sauce were very hard to pinpoint since my pallet had never been exposed to this kind of cultural food. The goat meat was tender and flavorful (not being a goat eater). As a person who is always on the go, I recommend trying it out at least to say that you have tried African food and being the best. Think about it. Most of us will eat a burger or pizza and never think twice about trying something different, but remember you only live once. You can talk about this experience to friends and family, and many people won't ever have the chance to try it since restaurants like this are hidden jems that get overlooked.

I called in my order. I got the jollof rice with the grilled tilapia. I really wanted to like this place but it was highly disappointing! The fish was nice and moist but it lack flavor I had to use a lot of hot sauce to bring it back to life. The sauce that came with the fish taste like fish oil I couldn't use it. There is absolutely no way that jollof rice was made today it tastes like they made it on Friday and today is Sunday it was incredible dry and also lack flavor. I expect African food to have a kick with lots of spiciness it didn't give me any of that. I don't even need to talk about the salad just look at the picture I didn't eat that either. I gave it a extra star because the customer service but sadly I will not be returning. The meal cost 20.99

We really enjoyed this food.It was very authentic & Delicious. We didn't break the bank when we ate out here. Each person was the average twenty-five with appetizers. The service was. Okay. The music was too loud for a restaurant at 4 o'clock. The music was so loud that we almost didn't come in. We thought we had the wrong place. It was like a nightclub. I'm glad we did. Other than the music level, we enjoyed the restaurant, which is beautiful.I would suggest a restaurant to go to.
