Came here for breakfast and they said they'll accommodate us. We ordered eggs with tomatoes and onions and green bell peppers. We specifically told him not to make anything spicy and if you want to give us the spicy peppers to put it on the side. Lo and behold we get the eggs and look great as soon as we started eating it we knew that it's super super spicy. I have allergies to spice. So after continuing to eat it because it was in the morning and I was really hungry I was like let me put It passed me underneath the eggs there was two serrano peppers which are spicy as hell. We also ordered two black tea. There's no glasses for hot tea He brought it out and styrofoam cups which is kind of odd coming from a restaurant. You're supposed to put tea in a glass cup rather than styrofoam. However the Afghan bread was super good. That was it pretty much just the tandoori bread was great. I think it's kind of my fault because look at the name of this place it's called tolo which is a Afghan news station I mean if you can't get more creative than that then something is wrong within. There was definitely no kind of creativity in putting effort to naming your business with all due respect. The last joke is look at the fan they put it on the wall those are the fans that you buy for your living room and your house. They put it on the wall just like Afghanistan when you go into the wedding halls in Afghanistan they take the same fans and they put it on the top on the wall and they drill it into the wall. We live in the United States now you got to put Afghan things that you didn't Afghanistan to the side we're not in the third...
Read moreI was unexpectedly near Madar and was excited to pop in to grab a quick bite for lunch. I was a bit bummed the tandoor samosas were unavailable. It seems they are now only being offered if ordered in bulk catering sizes? It was fine as I was happy to order other items on their menu. I decided on the Indian samosas and spinach bolani. My favorite was the spinach bolani, which had a great spinach flavor and perfectly crunchy crust. The sauce it came with was a delightful feta mint concoction (I think) which made the entire bolani even more flavorful.
The samosa was good, albeit a little small portion of 2. I did like the crust on it, which was different and wasn’t greasy like the usual Indian samosas I’ve had. They came with a really spicy sauce which I loved!
I didn’t have a lot of time and was eating on the run today, otherwise I would have considered a sandwich or bowl. My entire order came to $10 and I was satisfied-not too full and not hungry.
The space is light and modern and the service was efficient.
I enjoyed my snacks here and look forward to trying other items...
Read moreThe restaurant was completely below expectations. The food was tasteless and cold, as if it had been cooked hours ago and just reheated. The meat was tough and dry, the vegetables were wilted, and the rice was half-cooked. The salad looked old and completely lacking freshness. The service quality was terrible too — the waitstaff were uninterested and seemed annoyed that they even had customers. The atmosphere was noisy and chaotic, with no sense of comfort. For these prices, I honestly expected much more. I definitely do not recommend it
Unfortunately, the shopping experience at this supermarket was far from satisfactory. Most of the items on the shelves were expired or close to their expiration date. Some of the packaging was torn and dirty, clearly showing that they had been sitting there for a long time without attention. The products were disorganized, and the overall quality was below expectations. A store like this not only loses the trust of its customers but can also pose a risk to...
