I walked in and was gifted with the faintest smell of pizza in the oven and subs on the grill. Immediately, I was welcomed by both nostalgia, and a sense of wonder and optimism I had not been acquainted with in years. I walked through the store, taking in the wall decorations and lights and weirdly felt at home in a place I had never been too. I ordered my usual, small cheese pizza with grilled chicken, as well as a root beer. I was so surprised by how nice and devoted the staff looked. Each member looked dedicated to not only their craft, but to giving each and every guest the best possible experience. My order came out after what felt like just a couple of minutes, and I took it with a bit of excitement I hadn't ever felt before at a routine pizza joint. But nothing I felt compared to the emotions of my first slice. As I took the bite, I was transported to a world of my own. The burst of flavor not only was delicious, but it took me to a state of bliss, and made me forget all my troubles and errands. I am not a religious person, but this is the closest I have felt to ever having faith. The meal was a short one, but it was an amazing one. I left Ricky's feeling like a new person, with new goals, new emotions, and most importantly a new outlook on life. I called many members of my family whom I had not talked too in several months, and I had one of my best sleeps in recent memory.    Read moreWe ate at Rickyâs House of Pizza (RHOP) last night and tried the chili Verde pizza which was the Tuesday special and their house saladďżź. Hereâs our review.. I think they have one of the best crusts around, itâs crispy outside and soft inside to help with the stability so you can pick up a slice without losing your toppingsďżź, Itâs got great flavor so you wonât have any crust left over. The pizza was incredible, flavorful without being too rich, it was the perfect combination of savory with a touch of heat but not spicy. The pork verde was homemade and I couldâve eaten it by the bowl. The boys loved it and went in for a second piece. I crave their salads, they use leaf lettuce (never the bagged stuff) and all of their toppings are chopped fresh everyday so theyâre super crisp and fresh and the toppings are generous. RHOP have new owners and are switching a few things up and adding a lot. Their offering specialty pizzas on Tuesdays and sheâs got a few other things sheâs working on that Iâm very excited about.    Read moreThis place is absolutely amazing!! I ordered a pizza and unfortunately it was delivered wrong. there must have been some miscommunication on my end possibly. When I called the place to explain this I spoke to the manager Bryant (I think that was his name) who was absolutely the sweetest and kindest person. He didnât hesitate at all and told me he would send me a new order as soon as possible he continued to apologize and was so sincere!! When they came to deliver my pizza they gave me a bigger pizza and a salad on the side and said they apologized again! I wasnât expecting all the extra stuff that they gave me I really wasnât but if there is one thing I can say is I am so satisfied with their service there and itâs not because of them delivering me another pizza and extra stuff itâs because of the manager or supervisor who helped me and was so kind hearted and understanding. that is the definition of customer service!
