Chili cheese dog was supposed to have onions on it and it didn’t. Ordered 2 route 44 sweet teas and Bree brought our order out to us and we sipped them and they were both unsweetened tea. Pressed the red button right away to let them know it wasn’t the right thing and was told it would be a while because they’re making sweet tea. I said okay no problem, already paid for it so was willing to wait. She said the total price and I said I already paid and received the wrong thing. Bree came out again and said $7.57. I told her I already paid for it and that they gave us the wrong thing. Had the unsweetened ones ready for her to take back and she acted bothered by it. She didn’t apologize at all, demanded a receipt and I was way more friendly than she was even though I didn’t need to be at this point. The only thing that was made right were the southwest fries. She then said, “are you sure it said sweet?” Acted like I, the customer, was dumb. And acted like she didn’t just give us the wrong thing less than 5 minutes ago. Acted like I didn’t pay for anything. Glad I had a receipt. Then she said after being shown the receipt that it was the new people’s fault. Work on apologizing and believing your customers. Not coming back to this sonic. When the other sonics mess up, they apologize and give coupons to accommodate your time. Not this one. Never fixed the chili dog either. Read moreHad a relatively large order. Our waitress was spot on. With semi decent weather it seemed everyone was there tonight. Waitress was very diligent and helpful and har our order to us in a jiffy. The burgers were hot and fresh and mozzarella sticks were hot and fresh. My cherry limeade was perfect! Was having an issue getting the card reader to work outside but our waitress was more than willing to help as she had to run back inside. I felt bad because I forgot to ask for condiments and she had to go back inside a second time. I did not add gratuity to the debit card so gave her a decent tip. Sweet young lady with a very upbeat personality. I can only assume her shift was about to end at 7:30pm but she was still very eager, upbeat, positive and quick.
I apologize but I do not remember the name of the young lady that took our order. It was either Lacy or Lindsey. On the receipt it said Rachel waitress number 319.
Regardless of who took the order and who brought the order everyone really was on the ball.
Thank you Sonic it has been years since I have had sonic in California, so thank you for your service to the public and thank you for making this visit better than the Jefferson City or Sedalia visits.

Read moreI would give negative stars if possible. Always takes so long to get food or to even just have the order taken. I will not be back after my experience this afternoon. I realize it was the after school rush, but I talked to two different employees, both of them twice. Had to repeat my order three times after the original time. First they didn’t even have a ticket for the order so I told them what it was, then was told they just got a little mixed up and asked again what I had. Came back again and got told they remember taking my order in the drive thru but they didn’t get the cheeseburger correct and they needed a reminder on the whole order, so once again repeated everything I ordered. When they handed me the blast, it had no lid because they were out and the food order was still wrong after having repeated it multiple times. I waited half an hour for all of this for it to still be wrong and paid almost $15 for four things. I realize it gets busy and mistakes happen but I’ve never received my order in a timely manner at this location and that’s even if myself and two or three other...
