50s pizza and pub was a go to favorite I was hoping this place was gonna be the same or better. Unfortunately the food was very bland and not made well. We got fried pickles but they baked them instead because the fryer wasn't put in yet. In the name it says fried so if you can't do that yet then don't offer them. I got carne asade tacos that were awful. They had absolutely no flavor the "meat" that smelled and looked like dog food was taken up to the counter to verify it was steak not something else was told by two employees it was quartered up steak. Read moreThis place felt off. The lighting feels kinda gloomy, and the place seemed kinda disorganized. So did the service. You order at the counter, seat yourself, get your own cutlery, straws,high chairs, etc.
The food is brought to the table as they get it ready, but some stuff is not very hot. The food was mostly ok. Some of the taco meat had an off flavor. Chips and salsa were great.
Bathrooms were very clean.
