I ALWAYS enjoy going to Starbucks & getting some of my favorite coffee, so I HATE to ever say anything even sorta negative about it.... but I HAVE to be honest, after being a loyal Starbucks customer for over 20 years (visiting nearly daily for that entire time) I was SOO excited when I found out that we were getting one up here in our little town of Ramona & a drive through on top of it. Sadly I have run into multiple issues at this location from getting the wrong order to lousy attitudes that its gotten to were I don't visit as much as I used to unfortunately! I DO still go from time to time, BUT after YEARS of getting close personal service from the 2-3 different Starbucks stores I'd gone to for years prior to moving up the mountain I had HOPED to build the same relationship/service I had ALWAYS received over the years at this new shop. At first I thought I might, but never have been able to get even close to what I'd previously experienced other places sadly.... I know people have roigh/bad days no matter who u are, but I have even been laughed at & mocked for point out a mistake in something my daughter had ordered & needed to be corrected. (especially due to her food sensitivities) we didn't make a big deal out of it or anything, & just got back in line AGAIN & they looked at me like I was crazy and a pain for even bothering them with it instead of just being happy with what we got. Well I've got to be honest, that REALLY bothered me even more than it would have normally since not only was the order incorrect & received a lousy attitude, but that was the 2nd wrong order THAT week that I had gotten! The first time I had gotten the wrong order I DIDN'T go back since I was all the way home already by the time I checked my whole order, so REALLY did rub me the wrong way when I DID go back the 2nd time since my daughter had almost instantly noticed as we pulled away from the window. So to get attitude for going back and wanting to get it corrected instead of just accepting it the way it was, was FRUSTRATING to me & REALLY BOTHERED ME! I have come to expect so much more from this coffee chain....!!!! Now its obviously NOT everyone that works theres fault & I do still go & I've had times when I get GREAT service... BUT I would HOPE it would be that way EVERY SINGLE TIME!🥴 Now I have NEVER run into ANYTHING but good things at the Starbucks inside of Albertsons, but it I don't always have the time to park & go into the store to get it unfortunately... I usually look forward to my mobile orders at Starbucks for their convenience and efficiency. However, my recent experience was disappointing, to say the least. I ordered during a "Buy One, Get One" (BOGO) special, anticipating a quick pick-up as usual. Unfortunately, it took an additional 10 minutes beyond the estimated time to receive my order. This delay was attributed to the special promotion, but it was clear that the location was not adequately staffed to handle the increased demand.
What compounded the frustration was the manner in which the delay was communicated—or, more accurately, not communicated. The staff were dismissive when addressing inquiries about the wait time, offering no explanations or apologies for the inconvenience. This lack of communication and poor customer service did not align with the high standards I've come to expect from Starbucks.
I understand that promotions can lead to busier times, but I believe that proper staffing and training in customer service can significantly mitigate these challenges. Read moreI will never go to this location again. Aside from getting the incorrect order, they have the worst food handling practices I have ever witnessed. One of my drinks was the wrong size; it was a coffee Frappuccino (the most basic drink). I saw the barista take my drink, pour it into a blender, add milk, and more ice. She then poured it into a larger cup and handed it over to me. When I took a taste, it just tasted like milk and no coffee at all. I told her that it tasted bad and needed my drink redone. I witnessed her pour that same drink into the blender again (the same drink I had just tasted), added a couple of pumps of either base or frap roast, and handed it back over to me. She did not bother washing out the blender. I was disgusted by what I had just witnessed and told her I couldn’t drink it. She made it seem like I was begging for food and not a paying customer. Customers should be made to feel welcome and this location has consistently been lacking in customer service, product quality, and atmosphere.
