Mañanas Mexican Food — Restaurant in California

Typically, I would say very good about this place until today. They lost 2 very regular and good customers over a fountain drink!! We ordered through Door Dash, well our Door Dasher got all the way to our house when HE HIMSELF noticed on the order that he was missing a drink. He called us to let us know he was turning back to get the other drink and when he got there they refused to give it to him, stating that it was not on our order. They even spoke to us personally and argued with us, despite us stating that its on the receipt and paid for but they again refused to give us the second drink.. as you can see on our receipt below WE ORDERED 2 DRINKS!! Whether the pricing was wrong on the Door Dash app or whatever the issue may have been, is not OUR fault.. we ordered it.. You would think that they'd rather save a good customer rather than be petty (and wrong) and just give the stinkin...

When I first moved to Ramona, it was the best Mexican food place in town, and the most consistent, but they are on a steady decline. Half the time I go there, they forget items or make them incorrectly. When I pay extra for things like guacamole, I expect to get them with my meal, especially considering how much they charge for them. When I have brought up issues to the staff or management, they are rude, disrespectful, unhelpful and make accusations instead of trying to fix the situation. Tonight, my roommate picked us up food from their drive thru, and my rolled tacos with guacamole came rolled up in paper like a taco, but my cheese quesodilla came in a Styrofoam box... I fail to see the logic behind this desicion. I guess I'll be satisfying my Mexican food cravings when I'm down in the city, because none of the Mexican food restaurants in Ramona seem to...

.... I posted the above and rated 5 stars a long while ago, but I had to come back because I'm frustrated. If you need to special order your food, or have an ingredient removed, do not even bother coming here. My wife is pregnant and her doctor told her no cotija cheese. I waited for a very long time in a line after I asked for no cotija cheese 3 times and received cotija cheese. I've had multiple orders containing ingredients I've asked to have removed. You have to understand, as a husband who is trying to take care of a wife pregnant with twins, this is frustrating. I'm sorry that it might feel annoying to your cooks or staff, but when it's not simply just a preference, but a requirement, there should be a little consideration taken. I've probably spent hundreds if not over $1000 at Mananas over the years. I'm...
