Have been here only a few times but every visit has been great. During the day you have a view of the creek or if you prefer have a set at the bar and watch the action. They have great appetizers which my favorite is the "T-bomb" it's a Jalapeno popper with tuna and cream cheese deep fried!!! Amazing..... Then you get into salads soups and noodles for days. The mind blower is the number of Special rolls they make and make perfect. One of my favorite Sushi in Santa Cruz County. Go and treat yourself.

This was our second time stopping in, and we caught it at the right time, just before busy. It was absolutely delicious! We completely enjoyed the Caterpilla Roll (which was accidentally ordered), Udon soup, and edamame!! Everything was very fresh, (except the potent smelling bathroom). Service was quick and friendly and attentive. I normally would give a 4star due to the bathroom, but the food was outstanding ;-)

It was just okay experience. A waiter girl forgot our beer so we waited long and had to remind her. We had Spicy tuna salad, Boulder Creek roll, and Rainbow roll. Salad was good with Korian spice but sushi rice was too dry. Overall service was also okay. We probably won't go back there.

This place was awful! They overstuff their rolls with that fake crab mush, to make it appear as if the rolls are large, but this is just a cheap trick. The actual amount of fresh fish is almost nil. Super thin and tiny slivers of lukewarm, low quality, rubbery fish. Nice try… skimpy at best.

I have no idea why there are so many positive reviews? Do these 5 star reviewers even know what quality sushi looks or tastes like? I guess not? I’m really forced to question these rave reviews…

I also ordered a roll with just tuna and rice, and each piece of roll was so tiny! I don’t even think that it was a full roll? 4 tiny cut pieces? There was barely any fish inside, and it wasn’t fresh. That proves what I’m writing here.

The actual fish wasn’t fresh and was rubbery. If you’re looking for tender, high quality fish, don’t expect it here. They like to focus on their tasteless, fake crab, mushy garbage. That’s what your expensive rolls will mostly contain, and it’s NOT good.

The sushi rice wasn’t made right either. It was just some bland white rice, and not made in the traditional way.

The room has horrible acoustics and is very loud! There weren’t many people in the room. The server pretty much forgot everything, and it all took forever to get.

This entire experience was atrocious. Their prices are also outrageous for the tiny amount of fish that are in or on their rolls.

The owner only interacted with people that she seemed to know, cackling loudly, and over performing her “friendliness”. If you weren’t someone that she knew, you were completely ignored. Very unprofessional.

I won’t be returning. What a complete ripoff, and a completely awful experience.

Stop skimping on your fish…that’s what people are paying for. Well, you would need to get higher quality fish to begin with. That fake crab garbage isn’t supposed to be the main ingredient in sushi rolls! Shame...

LOVE THIS SUSHI. Grew up in the South Bay eating good sushi. When we moved here and saw there was a sushi spot in town, I was skeptical. Tae's Edo DELIVERS! This is our go-to when we want to splurge or when we want a healthier eating out option. We've gone when we were sick just for the udon or kept it light when we've been on a tight budget. Basically, always a good choice! We've been so many times I can't even recall what we've ordered but we have genuinely loved everything we've had. Edamame, gyoza and a couple sushi type options from the apps menu (sorry don't remember), salad is always great quality and tasty, UDON, bento box and of course... ROLLLLLLS! Something for everyone. Service is always phenomenal, kind and warm and they are sports fans of every kind! There seem to be a lot of people that order for takeout though we really enjoy sitting at the bar. I don't know that I've ever been during daylight hours but beautifully set along the San Lorenzo river if you're seated on that side 😊 So very thankful for this...

A very sweet waitress and fantastic view of the creek saved this place from a negative experience. The food was good but needed more flavor. Unfortunately, our shrimp Tempura and consequently, probably our Dragon Roll, had shrimp that were not cleaned at all. As in... we ate poop before realizing it. Yuck! When the bill came, we were told they were sorry for our experience, but offered no reconciliation. We were surprised, but said nothing and paid the bill in full. A minute later, the waitress came back, saying she felt bad about the situation and offered to void the original check and provide 10% off a new one, which we gratefully accepted. Though a small gesture, kudos to her for recognizing that we shouldn't pay full price for something we...
