Ukrainian Flavors — Restaurant in Camarillo

So.. we grew up eating my grandma's (varenyky) pierogies (we call em Pa'doggies)- she's been gone for a while.. and we miss her AND the Pa'doggies. Yeah. We can make them, but there's something missing. And now my mom & I have a five year tradition of getting together, watching Eurovision and finding Ukranian food to eat while we watch. Ukranian Flavors was our choice this year. We will always come back!!! OMG not only did Tatiana chat with my mom to make sure we could ship them, not only was Tatiana absolutely delightful and lovely to speak with, not only did they arrive in time for Eurovision.... they were DELICIOUS!!! We ordered Potato & cheese, potato & fried onion, cabbage, Cherry, and sweet cheese & raisin. Each one of them was so absolutely- delicious. And they tasted just like my grandma's.

When I was a kid, my Ukrainian grandmother used to make cherry dumplings. I would smell the aroma wafting from the kitchen in my sleep and wake up early to enjoy my favorite treat. My grandmother has been gone for a long time, but I can still remember the taste of her dumplings. I tried and tried to find a recipe that was even close to hers, but I never could. Then I ordered a variety of dumplings from Ukrainian Flavors. As soon as I started cooking the cherry dumplings,I knew. They were just like the ones my grandmother used to make. We recently ordered a meal from Ukrainian Flavors, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Not only was the food ready for pickup within an hour of ordering, but the business owner was incredibly friendly and sweet when we arrived.
