My husband and I ate breakfast here this morning, and I wish we would have eaten here sooner on our 3 day weekend trip. It was our first time coming to Cambridge, and we wanted to be sure to give most of the local places a try within those 3 days. Hands down, Chelsea's had THE best food of any place we ate at for the last 3 days. I just wanted to take some time and give them a shout out on Google, and let everyone who stays at Salt Fork Lodge know that if you drive into town about 20 ish minutes down the road from the park, Chelsea's is the best little diner to go to in Cambridge. The staff is so friendly, courteous, kind, and attentive. There were at least three people working and they were all helping each other out, filling drinks, running food, and taking orders. I really loved the home feeling you get eating there. You can just really tell they the staff all get along and are like family there. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered a Farmers omelet. It was cooked perfectly (not one brown spot), they use real cheese (not processed cheese slices), the ham and green peppers were cooked perfectly, and the eggs were cooked just right. The real start of the show, though, was the cinnamon roll French toast. That was actually to die for. I would eat that everyday if I could, but I live too far away from you all 😂. If we come back, save a seat for us for every meal. Thanks so much for the excellent food and service, you guys rocked it out!

If I could give 10 stars I would. The nicest people in the cutest town serving the yummiest food for a ridiculously low price... THAT is what Chelsa's Country Kitchen is all about. The chicken was marinated perfectly, the fried fish had the lightest and the most excellent breading EVER; the mashed potatoes were made from scratch, and the pies were HEAVEN on a fork! 3 full meals with sides, salad, and dessert for $40!!!!! I can't say enough. They're permanently on my pin drops. I'll definitely be back!!!!!

Breakfast Food Excellent. The waitress didn't bring syrup for my pancakes but they were super fluffy and plenty of butter on side of the plate. I saved some calories lol My son has sausage biscuit gravy with potatoes. As you see they give you a BIG bowl of gravy. I am not going to fault great food for the waitress forgetting syrup. It was not busy. It was noon with mostly local men eating and chatting about fishing. I recommend the food!

I should start by saying I don't like to complain about a restaurant and the wait time but this past Sunday the 30th of March my wife and I had to wait 1hour and 10 minutes to get our food. Needless to say people that were in the restaurant before we got there as well as people that came in when we did, and people that came after us were served and left before we did. I understand it is not a fast food restaurant but this wait time was totally inappropriate. Let me say it was not our waitresses fault as she was at our table several times trying to resolve the situation. The problem is that the people with the power to correct this problem did nothing to help the situation and didn't even respond after knowing about our wait time. We have eaten at Chelsea's 2 and sometimes 3 times a week for quite a while so it was not our 1st visit. They have really good food but this problem really soured me on the restaurant. I would not have been so upset if the person in charge had demonstrated a little concern for our problem and at least came to talk to us and tried to...

I was in there on a Saturday morning and was the worst experience the waitress if you want to call her that was training and couldn’t help but boss the new helper around like she was a puppy. There is a way to talk to people you are training such as not yelling across room. They sent her on break then was worried she left I wouldn’t blame her. I’m sure everyone wants to be yelled at across the room on your first day of work. The waitress didn’t like that I said she was mean to her. She had someone else bring my food which I kindly left on the table untouched after talking to the owner who was more concerned about her brand new car as she hit a deer that morning. So there is a lot of other places in Cambridge to eat where you won’t have someone asking you what you want to drink and do you know what you want to eat from across the room. If you can’t take criticism about you service find a different job because you are a terrible trainer and waitress. I wish I knew you name but with that mouth I’m sure people can find out just...
