This place is a gem! It’s a small spot that mainly does takeout, but the inside is clean, bright, and welcoming with comfortable bar seating, a cozy corner table, and quirky decor that gives it tons of character. They even have mini arcade games for diners to play while they wait—super thoughtful and fun, especially for kids!

The guys working there were incredibly personable and attentive—just genuinely great service. We ordered a small cheese pizza, a white pizza, the maple ginger salad, a slice of buffalo chicken pizza, a meatball calzone, and a salted chocolate chip cookie. Every single thing was fantastic. The dough is light, crispy, and full of flavor, and the maple ginger dressing was out of this world. Not a single bite was lacking in flavor.

Rusty’s Pizza & Pie perfectly exemplifies what I love so much about Vermont: the tiny places on the side of the road end up having the best food!! If you are anywhere even remotely close to Cambridge, and have a craving for good-quality pizza, you need to check this place out! They have a great selection of pies, other great appetizers in addition to the pizzas, customizable options with all sorts of toppings to add, calzones, other food (if pizza isn’t your thing), sandwiches, salads, wings, garlic bread, amazing desserts, and I could go on and on! The point is, this place is WAY more than just a standard pizza joint. It is completely worth stopping in because it has awesome food, the staff are friendly, and you feel good supporting it because it’s a small local business. They even have great gluten-free options BTW! So yeah…we’ll be back...

So I live in Fairfax, and I hate to say that we've tried every pizza place in town. None of them are worth going back to. We ordered Steakbombs from Rustys pizza and pie last week and they were incredible. But while I was there picking up my food, I noticed almost everyone else walking out of there with pizza boxes. So we decided tonight to give there pizza and cheesy garlic bread a shot. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! The pizza had a great sauce, fresh ingredients, and most importantly, an amazing crust! Also, you've gotta get the garlic bread! Yum!! I wish I had pics to share but the food is gone. It smelled so good that I didn't think to get pics before we devoured it all!
