I usually never go to the Camden Popeyes but I gave it a try today only for it to be a disappointment as usual. The service is pretty good that’s why I gave them the 1 star but the food is a totally different story. I ordered the 8 piece nuggets meal which they have the nerve to up-charge you compared to some of the other Popeyes in the area. But they charge you $9 for a meal with no chicken. Looks like they gave me the skin and small pieces from the bottom of the deep fryer that fell off the bigger pieces of chicken. I’ve had the nuggets before from other location so I know they can look like the advertisement but this location is by far the worst because all we got was burnt crust that they’re passing off as nuggets, which look or taste nothing the nuggets the other Popeyes in Woodbury or somerdale are serving. Read moreThe people were great but the air is non existent which is horrible for service and even worse for the employees to be working in those conditions. furthermore with weather that’s over 100 degrees outside it’s no better inside and they all wear long work pants and short sleeve shirts. I’m very thankful that those employees are still able to conduct such great energy under outrageous working conditions that aren’t in their favor I hope all locations don’t treat their team like this because it’s unacceptable and inhumane. Keke was amazing in service and she made sure we had everything we needed when I ordered with my family. She kept a smile on her face the whole time and gave us a warm welcome entering and leaving. Read more5/7: Lobby was closed, so had to go through the drive-thru ... I had a stacked order (2 orders from the same place), and mentioned who I was there for at the speaker - pull around. If you've been here before, just like many chicken fast food places, the drive-thrus tend to take a bit ... I sat in line for over 5 minutes, from speaker to window, and at least another 5 minutes before even getting to the speaker. I get to the window, one of the two orders had already been picked up (over 30min ago), and I'm the 3rd person attempting to pick this up ........... Really!? You couldn't tell me this 5 minutes ago? So I could have called support, the customer, cancelled the $1.50 add-on order!? Very disappointing. (1)
