The steak has got to be the only thing keeping this place in business. It had great flavor (most would find it salty but Im a salty person) even though it was 70% fat and not worth $40. This is a dusty & dingy hole in the wall place. The sautéed mushrooms we're awful. Potatoes not even fully cooked and dry. Never seen a place that doesn't serve Shredded cheese on a baked potato. The Fajita chicken potato was also dry, just covered in cheese. Nothing about it screamed Fajita. Table cloths were clearly outdated and over used, definitely couldn't be sanitary. It's very dim lit I can only assume in attempt to hide the 3 inches of dust caked over their also outdated displays. Got thousand island with my salad only to discover it was made with sweet pickles and it was a bit off putting. Well over an hour ordeal. Our waitress was super sweet even though our order was messed up several times. There was a long wait just for drinks. I ordered the 1/2lb boiled shrimp appetizer just to end up with 6 fried shrimp. Brought us someone elses order twice. Our food wasnt served together either. I was essentially finished with my 6 bites of steak by time they brought his potato and still forgot his sides after giving me the wrong sides. W hen they refused to make the steak right she informed me she doesn't even eat there due to the circumstances. Extremely over priced for the quality of the food and the building itself! Some how my total magically went from $90 to $94 when it should've been approximately $80! Seems like several other reviews on here have the same complaint of being up-charged, should be considered theft. #Jon Taffer would have a ball with the owner...
Read moreWay over priced. Not worth it at all. Co-workers were all excited about taking me there. They said the steaks were awesome, and that they were regulars. Once we got there they immediately said the place has gone down hill. We'll drinks were 12$ each, 1 small slice of frozen cheesecake was 10$, service was severely lacking. They had 27oz wagyu steak on the board, but when I ordered it they came back and said they didn't have any. I ordered a 22oz bone in prime rib medium rare and loaded mash potatoes with a salad. Received a burnt outside medium to medium well steak where more than half of it was bone, and a baked potato, no salad. Others at the table had similar and worse issues. Our glasses never got refilled until we finally flagged someone down and requested refills. And had to request for my salad. My meal consisted of a appitizer of cheddar cheese balls, burnt 22oz steak, wrong side, salad, tea, and cheesecake total $104.00 including a 15% gratuity on everybodys ticket!!! 60$ for the for the steak, side and salad. Unfortunately this is the only place to eat in this town. So the locals are basically at their mercy unless they want to drive 30-40 miles. I definitely will not be going back to this place or recommending it to anyone, unless they are someone...
Read moreI have seen the other reviews and I'm not sure what they had or who was cooking. I got a call from a friend in Little Rock who was working in Camden. I called him from there while visiting and he said he was here and I should meet him there and he gave me an address. I have been thru Camden for over 25 years and never heard of it. I was surprised as I had passed it so many times and never noticed it. It's not flashy outside, and there is plenty of places to park around it. I noticed it is like one of the hole in the wall places with dining room, bar, and pool table lunge area separate. The service and help is outstanding, so friendly and make you feel at home. The food was the joy, I mean really really good with spices and flavor galore. We had the Porterhouse steak, asparagus, mushrooms, and it was magnificent. I was eating the steak from the bone at the end. It was that good, and I'm not paid to say anything. Later I had the pictured blackened Salmon with Soy Ginger sauce, it may be the best Salmon dish I've had anywhere in the United States, or Europe. It was that good. Now I will be going back to eat on my own from time to time. I FINALLY found a good place to eat in Camden after all these years I can take friends to. I didn't have...
