Wisegal Coffee — Restaurant in Cameron Park

This is an insanely adorable local spot, run by the nicest ladies you could imagine, with genuinely amazing coffee.

The ambiance is so cozy, leaning into the historical small-town charm of Shingle Springs. The owner-operators are locals and genuine coffee afficionados, and it shows in their care about their drinks and their customers. Finally, the most important part, the coffee: a thoughtful variety of drinks is presented on their menu, but everything I've tried (upwards of half a dozen different items) is absolutely rock-solid.

I think it's telling that after just a few weeks of opening in this location, they already have multiple regulars. The friendly atmosphere, the heart of the young ladies running the place, and the delicious coffee is all top-notch. Whether you're a local yourself, or coming through town on the way to Lake Tahoe or Apple Hill, I highly recommend giving Wisegal your business!

P.S. While they cannot do drive thru in this location, they CAN do mobile orders, and I'm told they are actively looking for ways to make coffee-on-the-go easier...

I finally went to Wise gal coffee shop this morning. We have been dying to try it since it opened!!! From the first walk-in to… The moment I walked out, it was a wonderful experience!!! First of all, the coffee shop is decorated like nothing I have ever seen before. It is very unique but so awesome and a great place for everyone to go to of all ages! one of the owners and her mom were very nice with excellent customer service!!! They had food and multiple craft coffee drinks. They also sell genesis coffee as well, which is one of the best coffee brewers ever. Their menu was very different and they had all kinds of unique, cool drinks that sounded amazing and scrumptious. Can’t wait to try more! I got the Brown sugar, shaken espresso, and my coworker got the white hot mocha. They were both exquisite and some of the best coffee we have ever had. Thank you so much. We will be seeing you again!!! Also have to add the logo bad jokes and good coffee with the two girls is just so adorable!!! Thank you guys so much for providing delicious craft coffee and personable...

Today I'm celebrating finishing a year of intense dental/periodontal work. Decided to treat myself on my drive home and stopped at Wisegal Coffee for a treat. I got the Honey Bear latte with oat milk (sadly after having a baby my milk tolerance disappeared 😭) so I was happy to be able to still enjoy one of their signature drinks. They have a good variety of pastries and house made syrups. The vibe feels like the Whistle Stop cafe for lovers of Fried Green Tomatoes but probably a bit fancier than that. The tables are large enough to spread out for anyone looking for a good spot to do remote work or meet up with a friend. There's a changing table in the bathroom and the toilet paper even has cute scalloped edges. Wifi info is clearly posted so you don't have to do that awkward thing where you forget to ask when you're ordering and by the time you remember there's a huge line and you already unpacked your laptop and pile of notebooks so you end up just using your hotspot 😂 It was the perfect place to grab a treat on this strangely...
