Squeelers — Restaurant in California

The owner is nice enough. But i ordered the squeeler i beleive. BBQ pork sandwich. Very littke barbecue dauce on that sandwich Well its moist and thats all. There was like zero taste. So after a few bites i asked for a cup of their BBQ sauce to go so i could put more on the sandwich. Well im not sure what was going on with that sauce but when i went to pour it on my sandwich there was something crazy about the sauce. It was like a gelatinous clump of it in the sauce i put a drinking straw in the sauce and stirred it like real slow and i could fish it out of the cup in one big nasty clump. Did not eat sandwich and threw it all away. Cost me $8.50 i beleive. So thats my experience there. Wont...

I have never had runny mushy shredded briskett. Zero flavor, lots of water ran all out of the container. Cole slaw was a whole other story, pineapple cole slaw with no flavor other than mayonnaise or something. No tang, no sweetness, the most bland BBQ I have ever had, didn't have any mac n cheese or beans and this was 1230pm, lunch time??? Owner was nice and pleasant. Should specify it is shredded brisket if that is what it was. I found this restaurant to be very sad. Not sure if the pandemic took it's toll on this little hole-in-the-wall, but there is no excuse for chaotic and messy/dirty. There was one beat-up menu with the prices covered over with duct tape no beverages and I received my bbq sandwich in foil with no bag or any condiments or sides. The owner/chef did not appear all that clean or tidy. The sandwich was tasty but I really worried about the cleanliness of the place. Won't...
