First time trying the food here and honestly, I hope that they are not normally serving food like this. Everything was inedible. I ordered the wonton soup and the shrimp summer rolls. The soup was a bowl of oil. They added so much oil, the wontons were dripping in it and little to no broth. Every spoonful was literally oil with drops of broth. You can see in the pic, the top layer of oil in the bowl. Pictures are attached. The shrimp rolls had literally 2 shrimp cut in half and piles of lettuce and wilted greens at that. They piled the rolls in the take away box and of course, with the rice paper they ended up sticking together and completely falling apart. I would definitely not return.

Ordered seafood bowl I received 3 small shrimps and 3 baby octopuse pieces with noodles and bean sprouts and broth. No sauces that are the seasoning that you pour into the broth for flavor.. I returned to Thai Yum located at "The Spot" located in Camp Springs MDn 20746. I ask where are the acompaning sauce and lemon and lime. I was told I had to PAY extra for the sauce that was supposed to come with the dish. Will NEVER GO AGAIN! GO AT YOUR OWN RISK ! I PAID 19. 95 for bean sprouts, noodles, 3 octopus and shrimp.

In the DMV visiting mom and hoped to reignite her taste buds and remind of our Thailand trip. This place did not hit the mark. It’s very hard to compare the real to the play play we have in the states but damn. Serving size on the Basil chicken was bigger than expected but also saltier than ever. Please bring water if you decide to try. The other dishes were okay at best. I will say the chief knows their mangoes. It worth a shot you might have a different experience.

I, like many others was very excited at variety being added to the area. As someone who works in Arlington, I frequent a lot of different places for lunch and breakfast. My favorite for lunch is a local Thai spot that is just delicious. So I was happy to try one close to home.

So in placing this order I wanted to try a range of options. We ordered Chicken Pad Thai with Shrimp added. My Pad Thai did not have shrimp, there also weren’t any eggs, the peanuts weren’t crushed, and frankly it wasn’t any sauce, it was extremely bland. I had to whip a sauce at home to add to it just to eat it. But again, missing the shrimp I paid extra for, and included on 3-5 pieces of meat (unsure what kind of chicken was used)

We also ordered the Thai basil fried rice. Absolutely delicious and flavorful , but still had that weird chicken again …and again, barely any included. We’re talking 5 or so tiny pieces.

Also 2 orders of Chicken Dumplings. These were okay. But kind of cold.

I love their packaging, it makes it perfect for ordering multiple things and setting out family style. The portions are fantastic for the overall volume but the meat is non existent frankly. Also, My order was technically inaccurate.

It was odd having such a flavorful rice and bland pad Thai. Hopefully they can find a way to bring balance to all their dishes. I know they’re still new, so I look forward to trying them again down the line but for now, I’ll keep going over the bridge for...

Their fresh rolls were delicious, but that's where the good food ended.

That Pad Thai was the worst I've had for a long time. It's missing the savory-sweetness that Pad Thai typically has. It was a one sided flavor of saltiness and somehow had the nerve to be slightly dry. I tried eating here twice, figuring the first time must have been an accident or a new cook, but it seems to be consistently bad. If a Thai place doesnt have a solid pad thai, I don't come back.

The staff were attentive and patient, very friendly overall and quick with service. The food court style dining experience wasn't bad either. Their location is fantastic, because I'm always taking the train into town, but if they cant make good food, then...
