Popcorn Euphoria — Local services in Suitland

This is a place I've wanted to visit for a while now, especially with Garrett Popcorn no longer in business. When I found out it was black-owned, I was even more excited to support it. On the day that I decided to visit, I bet I only got one foot in the door before the elderly woman employee yelled at me, "You can't bring your dog in here." I tried to open my mouth to respond but before I could even form a complete statement she repeated the same thing. I just smiled and turned around to leave.

If I would've been allowed to respond, she would have found out that my dog is a registered service animal. At the end of the day, I did not feel like arguing and decided to leave. Besides, I had a whole box of popcorn at home for less than the price of a small bag at this establishment, and my goal was really to support black business that day. I went home, popped my bag of popcorn, and was just as happy!

While I can't tell you how the popcorn tastes, I can say it at least smelled good, which is why they didn't receive one star. I would just advise anyone with a service animal to find another place to go, as you will not be...

Hands down the best popcorn EVER. So there's a story to this, get ready, lol. I was introduced to Popcorn Euphoria via a wine festival. My homegirl sampled it, loved it and told me to try. I wasn't interested and tried to pass on it, but she insisted. So I tried it, loved it and immediately took cash out to make a purchase. We took the popcorn and asked our other homegirl to try. She declined as I initially did. Of course, I said, no you're trying it. She loved it too and even accompanied me on one of my subsequent trips. There are so many different flavors to chose from, they'll let you sample it. The staff are phenomenal; they're warm, friendly and welcoming. OMG. Y'all, this popcorn is downright criminal it's so good. 😍 Tried a few flavors at a Beer Fest in North Carolina yesterday and when I tell you I saw a Crab flavor, I literally jumped for joy. Being a Maryland native turned NC transplant, I immediately went straight for that flavor sample and bought it there on the spot. I'm lucky my husband isn't a fan of old bay, because I am not sharing this bag! Also, I may get my marylander card revoked by saying this, but this is WAY better than Fisher's Old Bay popcorn.
