Don Brand's Pizza — Restaurant in Canal Fulton

Solid good pizza place, they are in it because they live it and love it. Been coming here since I discovered Brands when they moved to North Canton back in 1996-1997, which was a short run as they moved back to Canal Fulton.

Cleanest pizza place ever and best quality, no gimmicks. Only thing of note I would add is they have the best banana peppers here, the aroma hits you as soon as you walk in! I love it but they don't put enough banana peppers on when ordered, so always ask for double if you do. All other toppings have always felt that I was getting my money's worth. I'm thinking maybe an extra half dozen sliced BP rings added and it would be perfect for my banana pepper count.

If you look at the photos you can tell they put on a good amount of cheese and toppings---there are plenty of mushrooms, green olives and pepperonis placed on the pizzas. The banana peppers have one full ring on each slice and a small piece of another pepper, I feel that they should add about another half dozen banana pepper rings and that would be ideal for BP as a topping, as a result I try and remember to order double banana peppers as a result because I feel they don't give enough on the first pass over. All other toppings are excellent in the quantity they provide.

Sometimes I imagine if they added jojos how their version would taste, but they only do one thing here and they do it better than anyone else so that is their claim to fame. :)

The classic Don Brands flaky crust, savoury sauce and perfect balance of cheeses is sadly a thing of the past. The new ownership seems to have chosen variety - expanding the menu - over the mastery of the basics that I loved Brands for. The pepperoni pizza I had tonight was a limp shadow of the perfection that Don Brands had been known for - scant sauce, perhaps too little cheese and a rock hard crust that might be the new standard or maybe an errant overcook. Either way, over the years and years of eating Brands, I never had one that wasn't a picture of pie perfection. Sad for me, but hopefully the calzones, buffalo chicken pizza and baked wings will be enough to keep...

Oh my goodness gracious you guys... this pizza.. is out of this world best pizza I’ve ever had.. it’s homemade it’s cooked to perfection the owners were so sweet and people weren’t kidding when they said you could literally eat off the floor it’s so clean in there like wow.. I am just blown away by this pizza place and to top it all off the price is amazing too I will no longer want pizza from anywhere else but here!! these people put love and dedication into this pizza 😍...
