Bella Napoli Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Canfield

This restaurant can best be described as dishonest and inconsistent. It's truly a disgrace to the fine community of Canfield. Its history of 1-star reviews reflects this, and after two separate instances of dishonesty, I now share that sentiment.

1.) I ordered two haddock meals for nearly $50. Pictured is one of them, consisting of three deep-fried, oven-baked Gordon’s fish fillets with fries. Would you pay for this?

2.) On a different occasion, the manager refused to honor a gift card purchased less than a year ago, citing an ‘incompatible system,’ even though the owner himself had written the amount in sharpie on the card.

For a better experience, I highly recommend Bruno Brothers or Republic Pizza, both are New York-style pizzerias just 5-10 minutes away. They’re run by reliable and honest folks who have earned my trust.

To the owner, I offer this feedback: The way you operate your restaurant, with dishonesty and misleading practices, is deeply disappointing. Deceiving your customers will not get you far in the long run. This city’s patrons expect honesty and integrity from its businesses, and your actions fall far short of that standard.

Your approach not only hurts your own business, but it also brings down the reputation of other small businesses in the area. You should take this as an opportunity to reflect and improve. You cannot build a loyal customer base by deceiving people or offering a subpar experience.

With so much competition and discerning customers, many of us, myself included, will simply take our business elsewhere. I hope you choose to do better going forward—for the sake of your customers, your business, and the business of Canfield, Ohio.

I will not be returning.

EDIT: Months later, the company has persisted in keeping up their response, which is not truthful. Protip: If they give you your food in a white plastic bag that is double knotted, check the food first before paying. They're banking on you taking it home and not...

During these crazy times with Covid and Protesting we are all a little scattered. I was once again running late to get home, and needed dinner for my family, and wanted to stop for pasta takeout, for dinner. I pulled into the parking lot at Bella Napoli in Canfield, and realized that they were probably closed or closing, but still went up to the door to ask... I was completely welcomed by the owner and his family and even though it was 2 minutes until their closing, they still were more than happy to take my order for 4 dinners and were so nice and treated me like they knew me forever, even as I'm walking in to order food at the time they would usually lock up. Now this isn't my first time trying to order food for my family at the "Buzzer" ...and its usually the same old song and dance everywhere else I have tried...that "sorry we are Closed" and no one cares... NOT HERE! these people are AWESOME. I am a small business owner as well, and appreciate more than most the work that goes into a small business. The Food was Amazing! and even the salads and rolls were made with such care, even though i was so late in the day. I realized they stayed open an extra half hour just to make my food fresh, that's an exceptional small business that wants to help service the community in hard times

To the owners of Bella Napoli; Thank you very very much, you made my evening with your hospitality, a cold drink while i waited, and smiling faces, which helped make such a nice ending to an otherwise stressful day... My family and I will...

MIND BLOWN!!!!!!! :) :) :) I've been living in Brooklyn, NY for close to 20 years. I'm a pizza snob and a huge slut for that "perfect slice". FOUND IT HERE!!! I grew up around here so I'm very familiar with the staple pizza spots, and i have to say that this place "takes the pie" LOL! Not only are they possibly the only place that actually sells slices, those slices are INCREDIBLE!!! And, they have the mini pepperoni rolls/pepperoni wheels) that are perfectly crispy outside and not raw dough on the inside! So rare that they're cooked correctly!

I want to make it clear that I don't know these people, and I wasn't paid to write a good review. But I am getting to know them because i think about it so much and i can't stop myself from telling them that every time I'm there. Ha! You know, it's just like how we all felt with that first, obsessive teenage crush. I have such a crush on this place!!! You should too! Because unlike that teenage crush, they're all incredibly kind, funny and will make sure that you are satisfied! Hahahaha!!

OH I forgot to mention, THE SAUCE............ it's so wonderful........ I'm satisfied to the point that I don't want ice cream after eating their food! That's a really, REALLY big deal for me!

OH AND THE NEW DETROIT STYLE IS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!! Thicker yes, but it's a fluffy, airy thickness and it melts in your mouth. No kidding. It's no bowling ball in your belly.

Just get a darn...
