Main Moon — Restaurant in Canfield

This surely is one of the worst Chinese restaurants in the area. My first (and only) visit was on 10/5/2024. As I approached the entrance the first thing to assault my senses was the filthy windows. The window facing the entire front of the restaurant were so filthy that I could barely see through them.

The assault didn’t end there. The interior was just as offensive. The accumulation of dust, dirt and grime were visible everywhere. Nothing says more about a food establishment than how well its owners/managers tend to the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of its business . Nothing. If they allow the exterior and interior portions of the premises to fall into an unsavory condition, one could well imagine what condition the food preparation area is like!

The food? Well, I certainly wouldn’t brag about it. It was mediocre at best and not worth the $40 I spent.

DON’T eat here. I got food poisoning from here! I ordered takeout Saturday night and the lady on the phone was so rude and actually hung up on me. I ordered crab Rangoon and ended up getting what tasted like straight cream cheese Rangoon. I ordered some chicken fried rice and they gave me normal fried rice and then I ordered fried dumplings and they gave me boiled ones. I wasn’t happy that they got my whole order wrong but still ate it. The next day (yesterday) I ended up throwing up 5 times within an hour and couldn’t lay down without throwing up some more. I was throwing up all of the food I got. Ended up going to get checked out today because I’m running a high fever as well and I got told I have food poisoning. Will not be coming back here. Food was good, but then again, I was starving! Service was horrible though! They never gave me a price on phone or when I went in ...it's $7.60 for a lunch special?? Then they charge you $.50 if using a credit card and not $10 then I said well can I order a few egg rolls too so it will be $10?
