Barn and Barrel — Restaurant in Canistota Township

I just moved here a week ago as a full time CNA through LRS healthcare working at a local nursing home facility. Although I moved here 2 weeks before the start date. I spent several $$ at the restaurant because the food and the awesome ambience is so super cool. Love the nachos. And the food is awesome easily to meals could feed a family of four. The staff again is the best ever. So let’s say what Orlando needs nice and respectful people. I was greeted by some of Canistota South Dakota’s finest locals and professionals. They meaning servers I must say have had certainly awesome parents. Because many of them are young. But they are so polite respectful and kind and welcoming to everyone including the Amish crowd. Thank you servers and your parents teaching you to be awesome. I must say as a food safe certified and professional responsible vendor from universal Orlando. I have never seen such awesome people. Although I can cook and serve alcohol. I told owners dou Jeff the co owner and Jamie’s brother that I much rather a part time job for my food budget. To tell you the truth I have never seen such caring energetic people. Jeff said I know you have more experience than dishwashers do. I said yes I do. But I would like to just be behind the scenes. Because I work full time taking of Canistota’s finest at Good Sam. Then Jamie came and met with me. And they offered me a part time position like asked for. They also know I am trying my best to get cross training to do more such as expo or prep. I love the family. The other guy Dr Ryan is also a phenomenal colleague of my chiropractor. He’s the other owner from ortman clinic. They are all awesome. I also have to point out everyone who works here is awesome. They have even been very accepting of my autism spectrum disorder high functioning. These people make me feel welcomed in South Dakota. Yall are awesome.

The food was fantastic! We tried a smorgasbord. The pizza was delicious - crust was perfect. The queso cheese on the pulled pork barrel nachos had legit flavor. Don’t sleep on the food because it’s so good! Great energy and atomsphere. So fun to...

Had the grain bin nachos. Super presentation, very tasty and enough for two people to not need anything else to eat. Bar atmosphere, place seemed new. Would definitely come back when we are in the area. Give them a try, you won't be...
