Assalamualaikum,
No offense. This is not the authentic Pakistani food, which we used to eat in Karachi. BHAI PAKISTAN KA NAAM MAT KHARAAB KARAIN. We visited BBQ nite yesterday (4/17) and ordered BBQ large platter ($100) and Daal Tadqa ($10). Food served after 45 minutes. That’s understandable, as BBQ takes time. When our order arrived, so we looked each other and said less quantity as compared to price. We couldn’t figure was it an DAAL TADQA OR ARABIC LENTIL SOUP. TADQA KIDHER THA. Need to understand the basics here. Only beef seekh kababs were decent. Looks like the remaining items were cooked by fresh (inexperienced) or green cook. No fundamentals of cooking. Naans were horrible. They were not cooked well. KACHE NAAN. Stomach affected. We ordered 3 plain, 1 garlic and roghni naan (because no paratha). All naan looked the same. BHAI KISKO BEWAKOOF BANARAHE HO. No proper chutni with BBQ (specially IMLI KI CHUTNI). BBQ KI JAAN CHUTNI AND PARATHA HOTA HAI. KISI STORE SE CHUTNI KHAREED KE RAKHLETE BHAI. I don’t know who were those people saying WAH BARE MAZAE KA KHANA RATING 10/10 AUR AB APKO MISSISSAUGA YA CHICAGO JANEKI ZARURAT NAHI. BHAI APKO PUBLICITY KE PAISE MILE HUNGAE SHAYAD OR you have lost your taste buds here in USA. Allah Reham kare bhai. YA HUM TASTELESS HO CHUKE HAIN YA VO LOG JO ITNI HYPE CREATE KARDETE HAIN. Our rating was 4/10. BBQ NITE TEAM you guys need to improve a lot if you wanted to stay in this food business for longer time. Service needs to improve along with front management. We are open for good suggestions, quality and will help to support you guys to balance your rate list as well. Please find a good cook. We spent $160 yesterday and it got wasted. Honestly. I can even cook better naan the one we had yesterday.
Please IMPROVE KARAIN QUALITY AND SERVICE. Alhamdulillah location is best. We want you guys to be successful in this business in Canton. That’s why shared actual comments. Please don’t mind at...
Read moreEdited: 16-May-2025 After talking with one of the owner I made mistake and found out the mutton karahi was actually goat meat. I apologize for my incorrect information. He told me that they buy fresh meat on their own and slaughtered it at Michigan halal farm . But the problem is due to Michigan law all the lamb, goat and bulls is not allowed to be castrate, due to that the meat may have small even in case of baby goat. Overall fair experience. Food overall good except mutton karahi which have typical lamb smell. It's not goat meat rather lamb karahi . Highlights Food: we ordered chicken karahi, bahari kabab, mutton karahi, garlic naan, seekh kabab, fries, chicken biryani. Chicken Karahi: very good . Taste to perfection . Chicken Biryani: I will give 3/5. Taste was ok but it's look like they used Basmati rice instead of Sela . The rice well cooked but the taste is more bland than typical Karachi style biryani Behari Kabab: succulent and very juicy . They make it really good Seekh kabab:That's very good no issue with that . Mutton Karahi: 2/5 I am little bit disappointed the taste was good but they used lamb instead of goat or may be used goat local meat that's why it have typical lamb smell which ruined the taste. Garlic Naan: very good luv it. Fries: Fresh but size too small.
Decor/ Atmosphere: I will give 3/5 the reason it was a hot day and we were sitting next to the windows which make it extremely difficult. It was way too hot as tall windows make it hotter. Hopefully next time they have curtains
Service: Overall ok I was expecting 40-45 minutes as food made to order. The only thing to point out is to bring all order at same time instead of in pieces so that customer enjoy it
Price: It was ok lil bit on higher side. But overall pricing was reasonable. One thing like to mention usually industry wise 5 plus 15% gratuity added to the bill but they...
Read moreWe recently visited this restaurant which is about an hour from home and tried several dishes. We ordered the bun kabab, half chicken highway karahi, chicken tikka, beef seekh kebab, beef bihari kebab, butter naan, and masala fries.
The chicken karahi had a good taste but a noticeable smell, likely from the chicken not being very well done, and was heavy on onions. The presentation was nice, served in a traditional style with a chabah underneath. The bihari kebabs were watery and not up to standard, indicating a lack of proper preparation. The chicken tikka was okay but nothing exceptional, and it was boneless with no white meat. The bun kabab was decent but a bit pricey at $10. The kabab in the bun did have a small bone in it.
The standout dish was the beef seekh kebab, which was juicy, moist, and well-spiced—definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the butter naan was a major letdown. It wasn’t fresh and seemed like a store-bought variety with bicarbonate content, which we wouldn’t even buy for home. This was a big disappointment, especially at $2.50 per piece. The masala fries were also underwhelming, just regular fries with some garam masala sprinkled on top, and the portion was small.
Service-wise, we were told the food would take 25-30 minutes, but it actually took about 45 minutes. We even added the bun kabab and fries to get something quicker for the kids, but nothing arrived early. Despite this, our server Farhan was very responsive and accommodating. They also provided a prayer mat and a place to pray, which made us feel welcome.
Overall, I’d rate this restaurant 6.5/10, and my wife would give it a 5/10. While the service and hospitality were good, the food quality and wait time left a lot to be desired. We wouldn’t go out of our...
