I had hope . . . Past visits have been hit or miss--with one major miss requiring us to throw away an entire large pizza because it was inedible--rightfully so, they later replaced it at no cost. Most of the time the food has been typical bar food, but good for what it is. However, service has been slow, mainly because the kitchen seems to move at a snail's pace at times, which seems completely unrelated to how busy or empty the place is. Anyway . . . the visit today will indeed be my last. The menu says a 16" cheese pizza is $12 and each extra topping is $2 (with the exception of their premium items). I ordered my pizza with pepperoni on the whole thing, green olives on half, and sausage on the other half. At Maraschino's, two halves=TWO, not one. Hmmm . . . They charged for three toppings. So I showed them their own menu with the prices. The excuse? They don't have a way to ring up a split item pizza. The manager (part owner?) was apologetic, but did not offer to refund the $2. I said, "OK, I'd like both of the half toppings put on the entire pizza then," pointing to my pizza. He nicely said that next time I need to remember to order the third topping on the whole pizza. I think he really was trying to be nice. Then Rich, who is part owner, chimes in basically repeating the first guy. I explain to both of them that never in my history of ordering pizza from any establishment have I been charged full price for items I've split half and half, making a whole. Rich's answer was that I pay a higher price at Maraschino's because it's a premium pizza. (BTW, it's a typical pizza.) That response didn't even address what I said. I explained that this will be the last time I come in, as we've had enough bad and mediocre experiences at their restaurant to warrant not returning after this overcharge. They asked, so I told them about prior bad experiences. The first guy was apologetic but said there was nothing he could do. Rich said, "If you don't want to return because of $2, that's on you." So that's how the owner feels about his customers . . . Those will be the famous last words I'll hear from the owner of Maraschino's because I'll never be back. (The pizza was good today, so what a pity. Good thing I know of 5 other great pizza places within...

Read moreMy husband and I were so disappointed in this place! we have been wanting to try it for a while since we frequently try different restaurants in the Plymouth/Canton area. Our one main complaint was the food quality. Our waitress was very friendly but we both ran out of drinks and there was only 2 other people dining in the restaurant. The food is very over priced for what we got. I got the 8 boneless wings, chicken was good, white meat... but barely any dry rub seasoning on it, definitely not worth $16 for 8 barely seasoned boneless wings. the celery was mushy and the texture of the inside of a cucumber. My husband got their French dip $18 you would think it would be loaded with meat...no it was not there was maybe 2 or 3 thin slices of roast beef. Fried pickles were also mushy on the inside and didn't taste very good. steak fries were okay. My daughter's kids Mac n cheese was actually very good, beer cheese and spiral noodles. so buyer beware If you have picky kids who only like kraft Mac (not an issue for us but just a heads up!) We also dined around 4:30pm and to our surprise there were no happy hour specials or deals....or we were not informed of them. either way kind of strange in our opinion with the different restaurants we have been to pretty much all of them offer something.
overall we were not happy with the food quality for the price, sadly we will...
